I’m seeing conflicting reports on the day and time. Early evening Friday game?
Not sure what reports you’re seeing but no game times are announced until tonight’s games conclude. If anything you’re seeing random predictions from nobodies like me. Based on the matchup and past tournaments where you have a 3 vs 2 game featuring a program with a large ratings draw, I expect this to be one of the late games on Friday.

Most Kentucky fans I know say all this but I think they're lying, or lying to themselves. Losing and having your season end when you're close to the pinnacle is just lousy, house money (low expectations, etc) or not.

Trust me, after the last 5 or 6 years UK fans are very happy with a sweet 16 appearance in year 1 of mark pope.

It looks like KYs best wins were Duke and Florida. However those wins were early in the season. They have also lost to a number of bad teams. Alabama has destroyed them 3 times. Any Bama tips that might apply to us?

Hopefully third time’s the charm. To lose to KY three times in a season…

I trust you, but I just think once it gets here, it would have to be brutal to lose at that point to a team you beat twice. However, since Kentucky fans are content with the Sweet 16, please tell your boys to let us have this one. My life may depend on it. No pressure.

Kentucky hasn't won 3 in a row since conference play started. They due a crap the bed game, which they usually have not too long after a big win. Probably a little over confident winning those 2 games in season. They shot 50% and 50 % both our games this season. We D up and drive the ball we should come away with the dub.
If we are going to settle for long 2's and 3's we might as well just forfeit now.

How tightly are the officials going to call fouls? Will they call ticky tack fouls that will immediately change the complexion of the game, or let them play?

Tight in one half and no calls in the other. We just need to avoid the early foul trouble.

I would think any fan would have butterflies from this point forward regardless of opponent
I get that sentiment but the OP has a point here. This would be Kentuckys greatest achievement in a long long time. Not only sweeping us 3-0 but ending our season and catapulting their new coach with momentum while ours is aging. Losing this game means far more to Tennessees welfare and psyche than Kentuckys.

Going to be a nervous week for this one
This is why you go to a school like Tennessee.

Playing Kentucky for revenge with a chance to play Purdue to go to our first final 4 in INDIANAPOLIS?

I love this bracket. And then if we get an all SEC final four?

This could be a dream run.
