This just isn't accurate. When was the last signing day that we added 7 new committs and 3 *4? Here's a hint..Zero committs last year and 1 committ the year before and it was Kongbo. It's not our best class but we signed the exact same amount of *4 guys this year as we did last year and with 7 less committs this class. But if he had a full year this wouldn't be a #20 ranked class.Even with 7 committs today we still didn't finish how we wanted and guarantee not how JP wanted. But 10 of our 21 players are *4 so it's far from a bad day. Just wasn't a great one.

JJ Peterson was a HUGE pickup on January 6, but since that date, we haven't won any of these key recruiting battles. We picked up 7 commits today, you're right. But what schools did we beat out for those 7 guys? Look at their offer lists. You can pick and choose which sites to look at to make the stars look better, but according to Rivals, of those 7, only 1 was a 4*, and 3 of them were 2*'s.

I'm not making my case based off of stars. I'm saying, of the guys who chose and signed with UT today, what other hats were on their tables?
