I dont recall ever seeing anyone blow up like this, going from unranked and unheard of to Top 250 in a matter of days before NSD.
This is crazy, and our coach is getting the kudos!

--The CitizensWhile there were a lot of athletes that made impacts on their team, not one athlete made more of a difference than the 2017 Player of the Year, Jordan Young.
Offensively, Young was the top receiver in the state averaging 23.7 yards per reception. He had 1,562 yards on 66 catches and 17 touchdowns. The Heritage standout played in the secondary on defense getting 29 tackles and recovering and causing two fumbles. Young also had two interceptions to his credit with both coming at key moments in the game. One interception came in the closing minute of the game against Alcovy as the Tigers had the ball inside Heritage's 5-yard line. The other, against Lakeside, resulted in Young running it back 96 yards for a touchdown. He also had duties on the special teams unit averaging 40 yards per punt punt. Of his 29 punts for 1,156 yards, he had nine inside the 20-yard line.

Interestingly, Jordan's QB is Caleb Pruitt. I wonder if he is related to Coach? Either way, great pickup for a breakout player in a competitive division. Jordan's videos on Hudl are impressive.
Edit: Not surprisingly, he also made AJC's 6A All-State Team.
Tennessee will recruit Jacob Copeland hard all the way until NSD, but two wideouts the Vols are also seriously interested in is Antoine Green and Jordan Young. Young earned a UT offer after his visit last weekend and is totally trending Tennessee's way. Tennessee may have found a diamond in the rough, as Young is a legit 6-3 and runs a 10.7 100-meters. He was a Class 6A all-state performer with 17 touchdowns, too.
Kid is a QB saving WR. Just throw it up if youre in trouble. Best WR prospect we are in on period. And as good of a WR prospect in the country. This is a game changer for sure.
Leads the state in WR, all state in 6A classification of one of the most talent rich states in the nation... and nobody knew? Lol
Nick theres a kid rhat is a Kamara clone at rb in 7a in Georgia that his best offer is to App state. I saw plenty of kids that can play SEC ball that are hunting for offers, all because they didnt go to camp their Jr year. I saw a lb who outperformed JJ, Papoe and Olujari this year who just recently got an Iowa ans Ole Miss offer. He did one camp and didnt play his jr year from transfer...unfortunately with the risr in recruiting services it has made recruiting for schools easier...they dont have to find recruits.
Damn, BB, that's high praise from u. I agree, love this kid. Young can run and has great size, plus he attacks the ball. Young turns interceptions into receptions and TDs. Baller, a must need, imo.
