Pruitt completed 54 percent of his passes and had a quarterback rating of 95. He threw for 34 touchdowns and 17 interception and an impressive 315 yards per game which comes to 3,779 yards completing 223 of his 412 attempts. He found success running the ball as well averaging 5 yards per carry. He ran the ball 101 times gaining 514 yards and scored five touchdowns.
Heritage quarterback Caleb Pruitt doesn't have prototypical quarterback size, standing at 6-feet tall, but he's got one of the key intangibles that makes him hard to deny - Pruitt is unafraid. He's content to stand in his pocket, analyze his field, and make the throw at the last possible second, even if it means he's going to end up taking a shot. I love that toughness paired with his arm strength.
Am I the only person noticing the cannon of an arm possessed by the QB in all of Jordan Young's videos? I looked him up and he is also unrated and has zero offers on 247 and lacks a profile on Rivals. Well, zero offers reported, fwiw, that does not mean he is without. His accuracy isn't exactly earth-shattering, statistically, and he may be a little undersized, but he can definitely sling it around the field. He is also qualified to play pretty much anywhere. 4.0 GPA / 1180 SAT. Obviously having a receiver that catches nearly everything thrown their way helps, but still surprised at the lack of offers from non-P5 and FCS schools.
