Saw a University of Hawaii QB going to transfer (they think he will be a graduate transfer) had pretty good numbers. Maybe we get in on him.

I'd like think we get either get the kid from Wagner, Chryst or Speight in here... issue is they gotta know JG is going to be tough competition for the QB1 job. They may prefer to go where the precieve there's less competition. I wonder if these transfers wait until after Spring game to announce?

Callaway is good but even he wasnt capable of getting open on a consistent basis. We all know how bad our OL and play calling was. Lets be honest, Kelly was the only real play maker. Hell, he was the only one who had the ability to get open.

Its a tough pill for some to swallow but this team is not that talented. Do you think guys like Callaway and Wolf would have started for many teams in the East? No they wouldnt. So with virtaully no help arpund him, JG struggled.

I just watched the tape.
He’s got enough zip on the ball and reads the field well.

The only thing that’s a little messy is foot work. If he can fix that Tennessee will be in good shape. JG needs a lot of work to be ready for Prime Time

I honestly do not think we will take a QB. We really need help at CB, but I know Pruitt has said he believes we have guys on the roster that can play that position. I would like to add a solid RB, DT, or LB.

Guys we don't have a backup QB. McBride will not work in Helton's offense. Shrout is project. We either need this guy or Speight to battle JG for QB1. I think we end up with lesser known transfer from Temple or somewhere similar

We don't have a QB. Period. Hopefully helton can change that though

I would be shocked if we don't bring in a grad transfer QB. I guarantee they want to bring one in. There's 3 spots left in this class and wouldn't use Blue Shirts on Norwood and Davis if he wasn't planning on using the last 3 spots. This way a grad transfer could visit and not have to be on his dime because they could use a scholly from this class. Would be hard to convince a guy to come visit on his own dime because they want to blue shirt him. If we don't use all 3 they could fill this class with Norwood or Davis and not use 2 blueshirt that take away from next year's signing class. If I had to bet I would say they are looking at 1 Grad Transfer QB and an OLine guy too. Possibly a DB but QB and OL could both use a ready to play now guy.I m sure it will depend on how well of a fit JG and McBride are for Helton's offense. I was reading the other day that neither are the ideal QB that he wants so who knows. All I know is we can't carry scholarships over to the next class and he's holding 3 scholarships open for a reason. Either way they will be filled before summer is out.

We signed 20; currently have Norwood and Davis as blueshirts. Sounds like CJP wants to sign a few more and maybe pick up a grad transfer QB to count against 2019.

Honestly I'd like to add an ol or two. If we can't protect the quarterback it wouldn't matter if we put Peyton or Brady back there.

25 hard cap. 3 blueshirts from last year count towards 2018 class: Calbert, Fant, & Wiggins. So cap moved to 22. Signed 20, 2 still waiting to either be counted later or blueshirt if they find a couple more 2018 guys they like.

Does Johnny football have any chance to return to college? With our offensive line we need someone with his mobility to make our offense work. This is our first objective on offense. Defense is beyond fixing at this point.

Would love to get a QB grad transfer with a Russell Wilson type impact.

Won’t happen with our current OL but another QB with experience would help.

Don’t think JG will be able to last the whole season and scary to think we would need McBride to play.

Ride JG and Chryst this season and redshirt McBride and Shrout.
