JG showed a lot of promise and toughness last season under tough circumstances. Chryst is a solid experienced QB who fits the style of offense Pruitt and Helton want to run. He adds solid depth and competition with JG for the starting job will make them both better.

And he sucked when he had it. Keller Chryst is not a 4 star QB presently. He’s a known quantity of adequate. Comparing him to the wide open potential of an incoming four star freshman, just doesn’t wash.

That last sentence is only true if JG has grown up...if he’s the same kid that pouted on the sidelines at GTech then I won’t be surprised to see him transfer

Yeah, I noticed that in the GT game. I didn't watch Vols games as much as usual last season. I was impressed by the toughness and potential JG showed in the game vs Bama, tho. Hopefully, he takes the right attitude and makes the most his opportunity this spring.

I’m laughing so hard at this. A month or two who, Hubbs said Chryst wasn’t going to be an option. I even posted that somewhere here.

Now, he’s a Vol.

These talking heads don’t know jack sometimes.
