final point on this from me -

i like both the berry's, i want both the berry's to be vols.
just think the idea that they are the "most important" as some have stated is a big reach.

No matter what this is going to be a major point of dissention within the fanbase.

There are going to be people that can look at the film without being blinded by the last name and notice that these guys are really good but that there are better guys out there that like us a lot, and then there will be people that can't get past the last name objectively.

if they even watched the film, they would notice theres nothing to really go off of.

Evans entire film is him playing QB and a couple of plays at WR

Elliotts film is 90% him playing RB. Theres 5 defensive plays.
One of the plays someone else causes a fumble and he picks it up and runs for a TD.
2 of the plays he gets sacks with jersey tackles.
1 of the plays he hits the qb after he releases the ball.
the other play he wraps up the ball carrier and rolls him to the ground

Mark Richt is the prototypical "country club schmoozer". He's a very charismatic, presentable guy, but the bull**** oozes off of him.

Guys like Butch, Les, Muschamp... they truly believe their recruiting pitches. Richt is just an actor.

I can't wait to see(UT Commit)out beside the title for Evan and Elliot Berry! There's only one home for the Berry's and it's Tennessee!

Berrys= Plural, ie more than one person with the last name Berry.

Berry's = Singular Possessive. Ie Eric Berry's twin brothers


The twins may not have signed with Tennessee yet because they have read their threads on VN. The English grammar slaughter in their threads may make it difficult for the UT coaches to convince them that they CAN get a quality education at UT! :)

Thanks for addressing the plural vs possessive issue. That one drives me absolutely nuts. It's gotten so bad I actually now see professionally done business signs making that very grammatically incorrect mistake. We've lost the country ... 😊

So what everyone is saying that because their dad and brother played football at UT they earn a free ride to the university because of "legacy". Well, I graduated from UT and so did my dad and that school hasn't given me a scholarship for my child.

If you want it then earn it, I am not saying they haven't earned it I am saying there are others on the board who are just as good

Remember Just because Dorfman "Flounder" was a legacy doesn't mean he got to be an Omega!

but he had access to a cool ride......... or as we say on VN a good set of wheels.. probably fast twitch too.

Thought this was of note. Their team was also 1st in the 4 X 100m relay. Guessing Elliot's Leg was just as fast since that averages out to around 10.51 a runner.

Also Stanton Truitt's times from his thread for Comparison.
100m: 10.56
200m: 21.86

Hopefully we get Truitt and the Berrys. Go Vols:hi:

Just skimming through the recruiting profiles on rivals.

The only two offers he and his brother have in common are Tennessee and Auburn....
Is there any question at this point?

Signing the Berry Bros. & Dillion Bates would be the best people we could sign. TRADITION means everything would take us to another level imo
