I do want the Berry bros, but I wanted to add this to the discussion.

For everybody throwing out that they are SEC caliber players, what are you basing it on?
If you look at their offers, outside of UT and AU (ties to the programs) they each only possess 1 offer from SEC schools. Evan's only SEC offer (outside of UT and AU) is Miss St., and Elliott's only offer is from Arkansas.

I feel like there will be an epic meltdown and CBJ will lose fans when these kids arent starters. (Not saying they won't be)

Only if we aren't winning. If we are back to winning, I suspect Butch will be golden no matter who he puts on the field.

My guess is the 247 offer list is more accurate than the Rivals offer list. They have offers from UGA, UF, LSU, and OSU.

Evan wants to play WR and we seem very content with Lauderdale and waiting on Malone.

Elliot is a S/LB tweener. Both positions of need where we are recruiting elite players.

Players in a family like the Berrys are generally going to be more developed as football players at the high school level than their counterparts. Despite that fact they don't seem to jump out at you as prospects.

Just an opinion though.

How do you know how much contact they have with other schools? Recruiting sites get offer lists from players, and the Berry twins are very private. They don't camp and don't feel the needto impress rrecruiting sites, but you just assume that other sec schools aren't chasing them.

They have SEC size and are track stars with elite speed that's plain fact.

I said noted contact, there is no way what is going on behind the scenes on either side, but I wouldn't be surprised if they randomly commit to a team like UK at some point.

I respect Eric and James tremendously, but I really don't think Evan and Elliot going to UT will be a good fit for either side. The scrutiny and expectations would be unfair and unrealistic.

The foreign soccer gif when the guy puts his fist up is hilarious, especially when a someone commits, but this is the best gif I've seen on here in 3 and a half years. The way it was posted and the circumstances, is unbeatable. Thank you, sir. :hi:

I mean is there any info on their recruiting process? Who they are even interested in or leaning towards? they seem really quiet. I have a feeling they will probably split up and won't end up at UT and UT gets a commit, it will only be one. But wouldn't mind having them, they can always blossom later.

Chill out, I haven't checked this thread in a while. Every time I do it's just convos about how it would/wouldn't be cool to have the twins at UT. So, I wasn't sure if there were any actual recent articles on them.
