McDonald or branham here ?
I guess we'll have to wait and see until Friday. It does seem odd that both Lewis and McDonald have said it's been a UT/UGA battle for quite some time with Auburn looking on the outside in.
Either Branham is out of touch on this one, or Bruce is on his bull**** again and the out of the blue commitment means some under the table stuff happened to secure Smith.
Yeah this is a tough call. McDonald also had the inside scoop on JD Davison.I guess we'll have to wait and see until Friday. It does seem odd that both Lewis and McDonald have said it's been a UT/UGA battle for quite some time with Auburn looking on the outside in.

-Rob Lewis. We are both hearing the same thing. Some positive buzz about Tennessee being the pick but doesn't feel like it's written in stone just yet.
If someone forced me to bet based on what I'm hearing I would take Tennessee but as I have said, this is not a 'story written' deal like it was prior to the Chandler or Mashack announcements earlier.
Rob Lewis is great. I wish in this instance he would comment on what the speculation surrounding Auburn means, but I completely understand why he may not be able to do so.
What do you want him to say? It’s one guy that put in a CB for Auburn, Lewis himself stated just last night not to discount Auburn. He and McDonald seem to think Tennessee with a slight edge, seems like obviously nobody knows for sure.Rob Lewis is great. Had it been a Rivals writer that put in a prediction, he may have mentioned it. He isn’t likely to reference a 247 writer, and right now, that is the only smoke for AU.Rob Lewis is great. I do think that no one knows for sure, as you said, but something has to have given Rob an indication that Tennessee has a slight lead here, especially after the Georgia talk for the last month. I do think Rob knows something that we don’t, but isn’t quite sure if it is enough to tip the scales fully in Tennessee’s favor. I have never heard Rob outright say he thought Tennessee led before today/last night. What do you want him to say?
