Good. I think that would be a huge plus to be joining such other great talent. I don't trust Auburn to be even remotely above board here.

Not that it is a huge disadvantage, necessarily, but Auburn currently has 0 kids committed for the 2021 class. They are in it, but don’t necessarily lead for Hunter Sallis and Ty Ty Washington, but not really in the mix for any other top-100 2021 kids. Seems like the safer bet for a kid like Smith would be to join a class with Chandler and Mashack with the potential of immediate minutes opening up in the post his freshman year rather than being the first in Auburn’s class and hoping they can build around you.

Tennessee does seem like the perfect landing spot for Smith and he's been a priority target for us for quite some time, but I just have a bad feeling about Friday. I never feel good about recruiting against Auburn in any sport and Bruce is desperate to land someone since he has missed on every other prospect this class. We all know Bruce isn't clean. It would not shock me if the sudden decision to commit had something to do with this.

I might have to check this podcast out tomorrow. This random Auburn fan podcast seems certain Auburn is the pick and they've also secured an interview with Branham who has the 100% accuracy for the 2021 class. It will be interesting to see if he elaborates on this pick.

Maybe I’m wrong, but my guess is that the Tennessee staff has yet to be told they’re out and that’s fueling some of Rob’s thoughts. He’s felt Tennessee has been deep in it awhile, and while Georgia supposedly had some momentum he feels the want to win gives Tennessee the edge

I think at this point it's pretty clear the smoke surrounding Georgia has evaporated. It's a UT/Auburn battle at the moment with Auburn (in my personal opinion) being the leader in the clubhouse. The Tennessee smoke all seems to be uncertain picks and soft leans while Branham seems pretty confident it's Auburn.

Assuming things don't change between now and Friday, it will be interesting to see where Barnes & Co. turn now. My guess is some new names will pop up in the next few weeks, probably some 2022 guys looking to reclassify.

Some bullsh!t, imo. I appreciate what Pearl did at UT, but he is so dirty. I can't believe Pearl gets a 3 year show cause at UT, for lying about the Bar-b-q and gets a slap on the wrist at Auburn, even after Person gets prison time. NCAA should have rung him up like they did Tyndell, imo. Well, at least Smith is not going to LSU and the current king of cheating SEC coaches, Wade. How Wade still has a job is beyond me. After Barnes retires, UT needs to hire a coach that is known to pay recruits, because apparently, the NCAA isn't going to do sh!t about it, anymore.

Well, it's not really over, yet. Smith hasn't committed anywhere, so I'm still holding out, a little hope. At least, the latest episode of "The Boys" still comes out Friday

And large portions of our fan base would take Pearl back in an instant. Unreal mindset. Dude is poison.

I'm still thrilled with this class. Chandler and Maschack will be studs, but I have to say I am pretty darn surprised we have been unable to convince an elite big man to come pair with the two of them. The #1 PG in the country and an elite wing should be an attractive situation to come into.
