oh, i forgot the gospel story where Jesus and his apostle raped Jesus's cousin with a plunger...is that in proverbs or the book of peter?:crazy:Wow...I can't believe some people are condemning this "kid"...and he is still a kid....so what was he 6 years ago?
I know another story about a young man who did something wrong in the eyes of his peers. They persecuted him and had him publicly beaten tehn nailed to a cross.

I agree that it is old enough to know the difference b/w right and wrong. But it might not be old enough to stand up to a 16 or 17 year old and say it out loud. If that makes sense at all.
the jews did that to Jesus....so yeah, you are.

How? I'm saying you are persecuting him. I in no way said he was the messiah. Get over your pride and leave the kid alone. yeah...that's right...the kid. It's not for us to decide...just because you pull for the team doesn't mean you have a say. If you don't like it, go cheer for someone else.
i'm going to be everyone's mom and dad now by stating the following:
if the other kids jumped off a bridge, does that mean you should do it too?
at 13 you know right from wrong. say no. go get help. get your babysitter out of the shower. hit the 17 year old with a baseball bat.
but you don't participate in something like that, and not have it stick with you. is it wrong on some level the kid will have this stigma with him for probalby his whole life, in some way shape or form? yeah, probably. but we all know that's the way of it.
there are certian people you equate with their acts, good and bad.
Mother Theresa
Ghandi
John Wilks Booth
Richard Nixon
Mike Vick
extreme examples, i'm aware, and i don't expect this kid to be so well known he'd be on a list like this, but the point really is, we don 't know any of these people personally, but they all have a stigma attached to them that we identify with. i'm sure there was someone in Mother Theresa's past that didn't like her for some reason, just like i'm sure there was someone in John Wilkes Booth's life that loved him to death.
for this kid, and the circles he's going to be associated with going forward that will involve any public identity, ie COllege football player, this is something that will have to be dealt with.

your logic processes have failed you. you can't call up a comparison of us (those that obviously disagree with you) to the jews (the persecuters of Jesus Christ), and not see the absolutely ridiculous correlation of equating Hood (who you claim is persecuted here) to Christ (who was persecuted by the jews, er, us as you see it).
it was stupid comparison from the jump. no one is persecuting the kid. i don't have any stones in my hand. i've just said that personally, i don't want a kid that participted in an act like that represnting my university.
i stand by that.
