My job in life is to try and predict every possible outcome for future events, If you two guys and Sab think I am being over the top we will see. The next couple of weeks will tell us the most but the first look isn't good.
You never know I may change my tune if things go differently but I don't think you guys are thinking long term here.
MontereyVol, we have been here before with Jason Respert and Antwan Stewart. I am a little more sympathetic toward this situation because he did appear to be a very young kid who was a follower. He also has been a model citizen since this incident and has done very well in a highly competitive environment in a private school. Most of the kids that go to KCHS are doctors and lawyer's kids, Catholic or not. It is difficult for middle class Catholic families to spend the $7800/year tuition to send a kid there.
The crime is horrible and deserves negative reactions, but this kid deserves a chance to make something good out of something bad. And I am proud to be a fan of the school that is going to give him the opportunity of redemption. I hope he just does not screw it up, but he appears to have his act together and he is Orange Blooded. That goes a long way in my book and I wish him all the best as a UT Vol.
I apologize then, you seem able to discuss this without going crazy. Yes he has turned his life around and should be able to move on, What I am getting at is he should be penalized in a way that helps the cousin move on. I can honestly say at 13 I had better reasoning skills than this. Plus I have heard nothing about the girl in the situation where is the anger for her? Shouldn't she be given a second chance?
future possible events, smart@asses.
Shamwow shouldn't be laughing at anyone.

I dont care about that crap. There is about to be something to come out that will make you laugh more, that I helped with. I dont really Fu^&in care about what you or anyone else thinks. ITS A MESSAGE BOARD.
And isnt that predicting the future?
I am sure that there is a lot about the girl that we do not know due to protecting her identity, as it should be. Actually, it appears that none of this would have ever came to light had Daniel (family, attorney, etc) not appealed the original ruling by the court. His record would have been sealed without an appeal. But he was maintaining his innocence which I would probably do to the bitter end if there were facts against me that were untrue. From what I understand it is the appeal that was open record, not the original hearings.
As far as the better reasoning skills, you may have been better at 13 than Daniel, but I know having a teenager myself that I can see this type of thing happening. Especially when there is a peer associate involved.
We just have to pray for the victim, Daniel, and that Kiffin has done the right thing.
The only thing that I would differ with you on is that I can care less what everyone else thinks. They have their own problems. Their programs are no worse or better than ours and I am damn proud to be a Tennessee Volunteer fan! If recruits can go to Alabama after they payed players to go to school there then there should not be any issues with coming to Tennessee. If recruits want to go to Florida and wear Tim's Tebow's thongs, then they will probably want to come to Tennessee.
Apology accepted. I understand the emotion. But we are the Big Orange Family and we will work it out.
