If you drive a the car in a bank robbery but never went in and pointed a gun, you are still as liable for facilitating the crime. This is what he did!! Morally, he did much more because he did not come to the aid of another. He could have stopped this from happening but he did nothing. All he would have done is said no! and got his father who was in the house.
I'm done with my rant Eric!! In my job, you deal with alot of this and I know my opinion gets scewed to one side. When you have to deal with a victim of a rape and the mental anguish it causes the victim and family, you look at it from a different perspective.
if we give him a scholly..then i will be pissed...
if we let him pay his first year and work to earn a scholly..i am cool with it
he was 13yrs old.... a lot changes with a kid from 13-19...at 13 you are very impressionable and obviously he was hanging out with an older kid who he shouldn't have been
All I can say is.... this kid better be a helluva player and not make any mistakes whatsoever. First sign of trouble and this kid's gone.
I understand, but there are two sides to every story and we may or may not know the whole truth here. I don't doubt that it effects the victim long after it stops effecting the perp.
It's not our job to pass judgment on this kid.
That is how it should be. He should be on a shorter leash based on his prior behavior. I wonder how many people have forgiven Jamal Lewis for his drug dealing while here at UT.
No but we all have the right to if we please. And this is crap, I am sorry but i dont care how long ago it was he had a hand in it some how and thats just perverted and this really REALLY pisses me off. I was behind Kiffin 100% but now I am sick to my stomach. If that was your daughter you sure as hell would pass judgment.

What this kid did is more than just a prank. They need to tell this kid thanks but no thanks. Send him on his way.
So, because he was involved in something that makes my stomach turn as well as I do have a daughter, he can't change or be sorry and deserve another chance?? If this world had no forgiveness or second chances, then there would be A LOT of people who would be screwed right now.
