Oregon or Auburn to win NC?

Nor did I claim he was. You claimed it defies all logic for Newton not to know. I gave you an example of a former player involved in a pay for play scheme who didn't get, nor informed about the benefits his "pastor" received.

Haha. Bumi. I would have stopped replying to you long ago if you didn't occasionally post gems like this.

Were you there? How do you know Dupree didn't know about the benefits?

"Next time you'd be better off admitting you don't know" about Dupree.

Edit:

Accept there's evidence that Dupree didn't receive anything. It's one of the primary reasons he was convinced to leave Oklahoma. :lolabove:

But hey, I'm secure enough to admit I'm not fully aware of the truth behind what happened in Cam, LaMichael, or Dupree's situations. I'm not privy to that kind of information, I wasn't there. All I can go off is what's reported.

Reportedly, contrary to initial allegations, Cam didn't not anything about his pops soliciting his services for money. However, you assumed otherwise.

Reportedly, contrary to initial allegations, LaMichael didn't strangle the women he's involved with. You're secure with the findings and are offended by those who'd assume otherwise.

Hypocritical. But anyways, I'm tired. I'm off to sleep.

Just like there was strong enough evidence in the James case for investigators to put their name on a description of events that does not include James "choking his girlfriend" out.

And yet you threw Dupree out there and described it as an example of someone being wrongly accused.

Which is it? Do you know what happened or not?

Wrong and wrong.

The NCAA says that they don't have enough evidence to prove Cam knew something. That doesn't rule out that it isn't true or even that the NCAA believes his story or won't drop the hammer later.

And I haven't written one way or another about Cam. I think that there's good reason to think that he is guilty. But, it's possible that he's not.

It doesn't add up to me that his family would have dodged it all this time but then come out with a new story that results in no consequence to anyone. If there were never any consequences to face, why drag it out it in the first place? Why lawyer up and go through months of negative publicity to avoid revealing something that doesn't matter?

Reportedly, contrary to initial allegations, LaMichael didn't strangle the women he's involved with. You're secure with the findings and are offended by those who assume otherwise.

Cam Newton case == Nothing contrary to initial allegations reported so far.

LaMichael James case == Substantial evidence contrary to initial allegations.

How about this? No one knows the truth about either case, but your self serving bias will lead you one way or the other.

Lets get back to football instead of trying to defend or prosecute people that we don't know.

does not include James "choking his girlfriend" out.

I know, he didn't choke her out. He "strangled" her. :eek:lol:

And yet you threw Dupree out there and described it as an example of someone being wrongly accused.

Lol no, genius. You claimed "it defies logic for Cam not to know". I gave you someone who didn't.

It doesn't add up to me

No ones cares about what "adds up" to some old dude on an internet forum. :hi:

Yes, which is why he was ruled eligible. :eek:k:

LaMichael James case == Substantial evidence contrary to initial allegations.

LaMichael James = Attempted murderer :good!:

I personally don't think there is such thing as a true national champion in football as there is no playoff.

I'm not a fan of either team, but I cant stand newton and I live on the west coast and one of my clients sons plays for Oregon so I'll be pulling for the ducks.

The 2010 Ducks are not equal to the 2009 Ducks. OSU's defense in '09 is also much better than Auburn's.

What about Boise State defense, they did better than OSU's? They held Oregon to only 8 points last year, after that Oregon averaged 45 points again in an easy PAC-10. If an offense like Oregon's worked against the top 25 then why don't SEC teams run it?

Boise absolutely deserves credit for that performance, but it was Chip Kelly's first game as coach. That may have had something to do with it as well. Still, holding them to 8 was impressive.

Wasn't that the game Kelly reimbursed a fan who bought a ticket to that game?

I think Auburn's offensive line has their way with Oregon's undersized d-line.

Oregon's o-line has to contend with Fairley.

Auburn by more than two TDs.

I also think Fairley knocks Oregon's QB out of the game by halftime.

What's Auburn running again?

boise and ohio state both had multiple weeks to prepare for oregon's offense. this isn't a coincidence.

The unmentioned fact in your non-coincidence is called Jeremiah Masoli's inability to consistently pass the ball.

One would think a Cal fan would be quicker to identify non-effective QB play, being exposed to it as such fans have been on an annual basis from 2005 onward.

i don't remember your qb exactly lighting up teh secondary against cal. a well prepared team dare i say might have something to do with the qb sucking?

Boise game was Kelly's first as a head coach. LaMichael had 2 carries. Masoli was god-awful. We were breaking in a brand new O-Line.

Take a look at Stanford's defensive rankings, and then take a look at how the Ducks maimed their defense.

People like Jon Gruden don't show up at Oregon practices to hang out.

That's cool, who is it?

So funny!

I said that it defies logic. Not that it defies examples of different people.

The irony of your "genius" comment within this statement is comedy gold.

I'm pretty sure that most people aren't going out of their way to see what adds up to some inexperienced, melodramatic kid on an internet forum. But, I'll let them decide for themselves.

I think Auburn's offensive line has their way with Oregon's undersized d-line.

Oregon's o-line has to contend with Fairley.

Oregon has faced some defensive lines that I think are as good as Auburns and have allowed few sacks. I think it's by design of the offense that they get the ball out of the pocket quickly.

We'll see. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Fairley ended up being a non-factor.

boise and ohio state both had multiple weeks to prepare for oregon's offense. this isn't a coincidence.

Yeah. But, Masoli had multiple weeks of extra free time before those games. Take from that what you will.

I don't think Auburn's defense is as good as Cal's.

I can guarantee you that Oregon is going to try to do the same thing against Auburn and Fairley that they did against Oregon St. and Paea-run the OZR and use the perimeter. I'd be shocked to see more than 2 or 3 inside zone reads the whole game. It works.

I'm thinking that we'll see Thomas run it more.

I think they went away from that a bit in the last few games due to Costa being injured. Now that it's the NC game, it will be all or nothing.

It seemed pretty apparent to me that Kelly, on Saturday, knew that we could win without running crazy with DT. I agree. It'll be balls out on Jan. 10th. Nothing will be held back.
