1 Oregon vs. California

The 2 point conversion won us the ball game. That ought to end the discussion on how it's cheap. Undoubtedly though, people will still ***** and moan every time we do it.

Yeah... funny. Did you enjoy watching Oregon burn 7 minutes by only going 30 yards? Was pretty exciting.

I'm sorry, Pearl, Kelly must not have received your message of the Pearl-approved rules in which he should call the game so that his team would lose. Seriously, you need to quit whining and grow up. Oregon plays the game by the same rules as every other team in the nation. His job isn't to be exciting. His job is to win games.

Yes, Chip. We understand that you won. What we'd like is a little bit of insight about your toughest game of the year.

Oh well. Maybe next time.

Good thing for that Kicker that know one in Berkley is even aware that the game even happened.

It's a ***** move. Chasing points that early.

Says the guy who can't accept someone else's opinion and hurls insults. Yeah... I need to grow up. Dear lord.

Please tell me more about my life and the type of person you want me to be.

Why do you go for 2 every week? I love it. Most know on here that I'm a Kiffin fan and he does it some, also. If I had that offense, I'd go for 2 some as well.

Oregon's exposed?

:lolabove:

A win's a win. We're 10-0 with 2 left. That's all that matters.

And I don't know about Cal's kicker losing it for them...

The 2 point won it for us. That and the stop when they went for 2.

People want to blame Cal's kicker? I don't buy it. Oregon had the ball on their 19. Dead center of the field with a minute to go and ran the clock out.

If Cal's kicker made that kick... we'd have likely (no guarantee but it would have been a chip shot) hit the game winner as time expired. 18-16, Oregon.

Whatever you say. No one else runs hurry up all game and no one else milks the clock with 7 minutes left in the game. Especially up by only 2. I'm saying it's annoying to watch the guy hurry up all game until he realizes the only way he can win is by not even playing the game. I'm sitting here watching one play a minute.

Doesn't matter. Oregon has been exposed. Whoever has a month to plan for them should be able to stop them. If it's Auburn, I expect them to outscore them.

Week in and week out you spew about how every elite team has been exposed and now sucks in the gospel according to Orange Pearl. Winning at Cal isn't an easy task for any team, every championship team has a lackluster performance(s) in a season. Im just curious who you think is worthy of the BCS title game now? Jesus U vs Godzilla isn't an option brah.

I'm getting tired of the whole ranked opponent argument . Body of work is what counts and you can't give me an argument that matching up team for team that the WAC is stronger than the PAC . That being said, go Boise wreck the system.. And bring TCU with you.

The big east is also better. Reminds me of the undefeated 2009 Cincinnati team. They played several good teams but no solid top 25 teams, then no conference title game.

You'll see. It will be just like 11-2 Georgia Tech who was averaging like 500 yards a game until their bowl game. Iowa had a month to prepare and held their offense to 150. I just watched a .500 team hold Oregon to one offensive score. Scoring is Oregon's bread and butter. If they score one offensive touchdown against a quality team, they are going to lose.

? You play to win the game.

Kelly does that about every week. It's to try to flex some muscle and show that his creation of an offense is unstoppable. He's not "playing to win the game". There's a common theme in the last few posts about the coaches that go for 2 so often. Kiffin-arrogant prick. Kelly-arrogant prick.

Did you see Cal's game plan on defense? Copy that.

Their defense isn't even good and they held Oregon's offense to one touchdown. Oregon's other touchdown came on a punt return.

If Cal's defense can shut Oregon's offense down, a lot of defenses can using the same game plan. Cal lost like 40-0 to USC or something like that.

to each their own. oregon's offense is far too dynamic IMO to be stopped that simply week in and week out. i would say kelly is smart enough to make adjustments after this game on offense to tailor against whatever defense or team that they're playing.

I think it is too early to say Oregon is exposed. We'll find out before their potential championship game appearance though.

I also think the point about unique offenses struggling against teams with a long time to prepare is a good one.

What are you talking about? lol

You are talking out of your butt.

...and if Oregon is lucky enough to have Auburn win out and make it to the national championship game (I don't think they'll beat Alabama), then Oregon will be playing against a very porous defense.
