10' AL LB John Propst

I've known Propst for about 30 years. He started coaching down here in Alabama when I did. He has a system, a very productive one I might add. He had some very good teachers as assistants when he was starting out. The character issues are what got him in trouble at Hoover, but they have also followed him where ever he has been. No one really talks about his days at Cleburne County in Heflin Alabama.

I'm sorry but his 'system' is the Tony Franklin system and you too can have it for a few grand.

I've seen where Propst used to take a private plane up to Kentucky everyday to watch their practices.

Really? That has nothing to do with the fact that anyone that knows this man knows what kind of man he is. Too bad Propst's vaunted system isn't even his. The man is a fraud.

I'm aware of all his baggage, and I don't care for him. It doesn't change the fact that he owned the state of Alabama.

Got to love that GPA. DISCIPLINED!

Smart players with heart and determination. Kid has the size and I am sure he has the talent to do well.

Fantastic pick up.

J.C. isnt one of the 25 currently commited. ralph williams wont be a vol so that puts us at 24. the only guy who might not qualify of the people we have commited now is john brown IIRC

Loften may not make it either, and there have even been doubts about Stanley qualifying (that one would hurt if true).

His film is impressive. He's aggressive and a major presence in the LB spot. Looks like a good one.

I agree, Propst is one of those glue guys you need on a team. Not everyone can be a 5 or 4 star but that doesn't mean they can't rise above and play to a 4 or 5 star level!
