This may be the best prospect out there. Who knows? Like Hughes, some guys just fly completely under the radar somehow. Maybe they don't have anyone to promote them and can't get to the camps?

The real question is can he play football and can he physically develop into an SEC level player. If so, sign him.

oh yeah there is always a prospect who goes through the process highly undervalued/recruited

maybe we found a gem here..... only time will tell....

i just like better odds

Lance Thompson has coached some great LB prospects in his time. If he thinks he's good enough to play here, then that's all I need to know.

Wow!! No information on this guy anywhere... Scouts a Blank and ESPN a blank as well as Maxx Prep. Even Montori Hughes was listed on the sites.

Gotta trust the coaches and don't Slam me here, but maybe, just maybe this guy is a better fit for Northeast Southwestern Idaho Technical. ( I'm just sayin") Dang guys????

This is still Tennessee ya know...

10 lbers is plenty imo...we should have over that on roster without this guy

askew, king, nelson, mitchell-throton, jackson, williams, stanley, jac smith possibly, reveiz, frazier, thompson, lathers

i mean that appears to be a good amount of bodies to me

but hey i guess we have a few scholarships to play with....give the guy a try right

I understand but this young fellow is a 0 star man.... No school in the entire south has offered this kid that I can find....

If we are gonna sign a guy like this it needs to be an OL IMO>>>

I would hope if they are going to start handing out schollys to anybody especially in the LB position they should do it with TN kids. Like A.Williamson.

I guess the kid did not fit the systems of Ala.,UGA,FSU,UNC,LSU,Kentucky or Middle Tennessee either since no one and I mean NO ONE has offered him. GET OFF THE KOOL-AID MAN!!!!:crazy:

how many teams had offered Montori before UT snatched him up? Acting like players don't get missed by recruiting "experts" is nuts.

I'm talking about the geography as number 1 recruiting priority as utter silliness. It wasn't about this kid in particular, but discerning that might have required some comprehension on your part, which is apparently a bit much to ask.

I was getting ready to post the same thing. Hughes was not even on the radar until UT offered him. Then rivals picked up the story and put him on their site as a 2*. We all know he was overlooked and is a beast. If LT thinks this kid can play for UT, I say bring him on.
