Were there any other players from his high school that were D1 prospects this year so that coaches would have been aware of him too? If not, that may be why he got overlooked.

Why cant we understand the difference. Thats all I'm saying. I would not offer him and niether would or has any other college in the country as of today..

He is not as highly rated as the people u have suggested.

Hughes had zero stars and zero offers before UT. I'm not even sure his name was listed on their site at the time he committed

I know Karl's situation, I just wouldn't hold him up as the guy who eclipsed his star ratings. He played out of necessity. Hughes appears to be a different story.

if I remember correctly, Hughes also had zero stars until he committed to UT. Being a stars guy, you should have known that. But I keep forgetting, your knowledge and evaluation talents (look at stars) are way better than a previous recruiter of the year Coach Lance Thompson.

Please go to TOS and u will see that he was a 2 star prospect with a 5.4 rating.

He was rated AFTER he committed or hd the offer from UT. Get your facts straight.

Then go get Crump dude he he's a future NFL pro-Bowler. Just ask all the other coaches in the South who are licking their chops for him.

Hughes is an exception to the rule and u should know that. If you don't then I can't help that. :hi:

Crump was also named to the 2009 Birmingham News All West Team. Not exactly sure how prestigious that is, but there are a few good names on that team. He finished the year with 108 tackles and 8 sacks

My Nephew was Nashville Tennessean all Mid-State 2 years in a row and he is now in the USAF..

So that's how you roll? You swear up and down that Hughes was rated and wasn't like this guy, and when proved wrong, you then switch to "well he's the exception to the rule." really? So you can say for sure you know Crump won't be the same? Oh yeah, I forgot, you will because you look at stars only.

I will say that history says he will not be good enough to play in this league. I am not Nostrodomus but the odds are stacked heavily against him being succesfull.

I dont know of Hughes rating before the signing and never said I did, all I know is that he is rated now.

UT is not in the habit of signing these types of players and I would not sign this one.

Using your ideolgy, u would be penniless in Las Vegas in 2 minutes or would be the richest man alive . What do you think is more likely. Thats all I'm saying..
