We definitely need another RB. We're a freak injury (Toney Williams) from being up the creek next year. I'm in the 'Poole is gone either way' camp.

+1. Not saying is has to be Dyer, or a 5* back, but we need somebody in this class.

I do think they need another RB. The thing is they are being very very selective at the position. They only want an elite guy.

That's really sad because the kid shows up big in Spring Ball and fall camp 2 yrs in a row, and STILL can't get no love...

It almost seems like it's Dyer or bust with the staff. You get that impression, Montrell?

Mack Brown is really the only other guy that I've heard we're really hard after, but he doesn't seem interested. I know Ferrell claims we're in on Gore, but I haven't seen anything concrete about that from our insiders. And there were also rumors that we didn't want Gio Bernard.

Obviously, Dyer is getting the full court press. I think it's going to be hard for him to say no to O for 3 more months.

Gore hasn't taken any visits. I'd imagine he's been waiting until after his HS season is over.

Scractch that. Gore took an official to LSU for the Florida game.

And Scout has him visiting Cal this weekend.

Have you ever been to Mississippi State? It's the same there as well. The campus was nice though but nothing but fields and highway until you see the campus.

This is what I initially said. Ferrell says that but I haven't seen anything from our guys (Hubbs, 77, whoever) to suggest that we're really that interested in Gore. I'm sure we're courting him but he seems like a back-up plan type of guy to me.

I still think Dyer and Brown are the only two backs that we are going really hard after.

B/c I wanted dyer alot. He is looking like the next maurice jones-drew. Can you say future 1st rounder. Also isn't gore just a skat back type? Is he only a 4 star b/c of his name or is he legit?

Seems like I read where LV or someone said he was still here on Sunday. It sounded like an Official. Which I hope it wasn't. If we are going to land him we will have to get him back on campus. We shall see....

Honestly I would love to have Dyer. But there are tons of good RB's out there. I think we will be fine there. We seem to be going after the elite kids and if we don't get them I don't think we are going to be in to bad of shape.

Mack Brown or Dyer for that matter isn't over yet. We will recruit both till signing day I am sure.

anyways there are a ton of good rb's this year...maybe not elite but really good

its a soft commitment guys. ask anyone like sab or LV. his recruitment is far from over, and our staff will be pushing for him til NSD.
