He created a nice little frenzy on the board this morning with his statement that UT could take 31 players in this class.

Wasn't too knowledgable about that.

But whatever Doom says about the family business doesn't matter. If Powell doesn't have the SAT in hand, the school can't pay for his visit. Period.

And whoever wants to ignore the fact that Powell has travelled to Gainesville three times on his own nickel and has family attending UF, go ahead. Like UT recruits, Powell wants to play as a freshman. USC is MF loaded at DE. Don't know where he lands, but there is ample reason to believe he could land in Gainesville.

Vador was as close as anyone to this whole rule debacle the SEC created. And btw, we'll take as many guys as we can. Our staff knows who they want.

The days of Fulmer offering schollys just to fill up a class are over.

Powell took a red-eye flight to Gainesville today with his family for an un-official visit. Sounds good for us but the bright-side for UT is that you have a chance to impress him today as well.

Florida fans are starting to hear some good things about Powell. It is pretty clear USC and UF are his top-2 right now. We will see what happens. USC is still going to be pretty tough to beat.
