Gator premium message board sites like GC have posters saying that he committed in the Locker Room after the game. The big thing is Powell has come to UF 3X on his own dime in the last 3 months. Another rumor is that his mom is looking for housing on the east coast. All of the signs are pointing to that he is coming to UF.

Actually after UTs performance running the ball yesterday it might hurt UT in the recruiting ranks. UT right now can sell early playing time over UF, UA, LSU, even though they might have the edge for top national powers right now. Yesterday UT showed recruits on the defensive side of the ball that they could get early playing time at UF because their defense stood around and watched UT run the ball way to many times.

UF to be a national contender yesterday demonstrated a Big-12 defense.

If that was legit, it would be all over the Mainboard and everything. Hell it would probably even be on VQ since a few guys have subscriptions to it.

At least UF didn't quit in the fourth quarter of the SECCG.

According to Rivals and Scouts, he is not committed to any school yet. But, I think he'll end up at USC.

Based on what, exactly? We dont have a shot anyway, so I couldnt care less where this kid goes....but if I were him and I wanted to get to the NFL, you really cant go wrong with either UF or USC.

Even if he does verbal to UF, they will be in a DOG FIGHT with USC to keep him I bet. CPC doesnt give up on a recruit he really wants.....and there is a great chance that UF's defensive coordinator could leave for a HC job if the UF defense ends up as good as everyone expects.

Why would he be a "silent"? Wouldnt UF want this info out there ASAP, especially with our recent recruiting momentum?
