:dunno: Figure out who we need the most afterwards and that depends on his committment. We're either talking about OL and WR's or more QB comparisons.

Unless, of course, another beast starts talking about joining our D.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the new tv deal that really makes the SEC it's own network. That's right Jesse the SEC is locked in with ESPN and CBS for years to come. Who are these networks gonna push? I have a feeling your family might be able to see every game or nearly every game, if not your frosh year, definitely by your second year. It's gonna be huge, I mean look at SEC media day, all day coverage on ESPN today and for the rest of the week! What other conference can say that? You say ya wanna lead. You say you aren't afraid of the competition. Come to Tennessee and play against the best teams in the best league and bring the best players with ya. It's not easy to be a leader.

So this is what USC Forum is saying...

"According to my source close to the Athletic Department, Jesse Scorggins will commit to play football for the USC Trojans as a member of the class of 2010.

I am extremely impressed with this kid, he will definetly end up becoming a big time star QB here at USC whether he gets 1 or 2 seasons as a starter following Matt Barkley.

Growing up I always wondered when I would see the day that USC recruited a black QB, Not that it matters what color QB is leading the team but I felt it was somewhat unfair or unordinary considering how diverse a team USC is, Change has come and that Change is Jesse Scroggins. Make LA proud young man."

So I've been out the last couple of days (thread took off I'm tellin' ya)...

Anyway, what is all the UF chatter about? How are they so much in the picture now?

Is it because he's made his commitment so ambiguous to any of the 3 schools?

Many "theories" some say it is to snub UF.... but i just think they were in his top three, most likely third... and he has been deciding between his final 2.

Pretty much. Since he moved his announcement date to tomorrow, people are wondering if it's more than coincidence that Florida's media day is tomorrow. It's also speculation from his comment on his myspace that said "I ain't going where everyone thinks I'm going." As far as we can think, that's probably USC, but it may very well be USC and Tennessee, and he (for some unknown reason) would pick Florida. But no evidence.
