Nope. I don't get depressed, just frustrated with the lack of progress on the QB recruiting front and the ridiculous plan that they had in place to shun all but one. Well that may work when you're USC and the guy's in your home state, but when you do it at a school that just went 5-7, lost a good QB to a transfer and will only have one scholarship QB on the roster so far going in to spring, you can't do it. You also can't turn away talent like Tajh Boyd who is going to turn into a terrific QB. I get dropping the ball occassionally, but when you do it at a position so devoid of talent that a Ginger with no soul is likely your starting guy next year, well then that's just stupid.

I hope these guys learn on the job. And I hope they figure out what they are doing in time to still have jobs in four years.

I think at this point we will need to focus on someone who is actually interested in us. I don't think we're really going to have the power to sway another quarterback away from a school till we improve our own qb play....crap that means i have to pray that crompton does a complete 180 this season inch:

They only have 4 years, bub. And if Kiffin can't get a guy capable of winning more than 7 games a year against the likes of UGA, Florida, LSU, and Alabama, by 2011, his seat is going to be so hot he'll think he spilled coffee in it.
