See, i'm more of the opinion that your coach should build his offense around his players (their strengths, especially the good ones) rather than this is my type of offense and i will run it the same regardless of who's here. I get reminded of when the falcons started making Vick run the west coast offense; no it didn't utilize the strengths (notably mobility) of their starting qb but it didn't matter b/c that's the offense the coach wanted to run regardles


And almost anyone's better than crompton right now, possibly even just anyone

While we're at it - since this thread was talking about USC and its qb situation - apparently unproven Aaron corp won the starting QB job over Barkley and Mustain (SI says)

if we dont get a commitment from jesse today then i am going to take a break from volnation... it has controlled me all summer. im like a zombie. do you understand what it is like to not have a summer job and to be finished with summer term classes? god i have a headache.

I've read here a lot and usc does make sense but does anyone still feel like he could be a vol tomorrow? i'm feeling a bryce brown. anybody else?

it's possible, but pretty high on the unlikely scale. The bryce change over was nice, but it's one of those things that even though it happened once, you can't keep saying it will happen again w/ a big time recruit each offseason...

really? it's not just being a homer, i think this staff COULD pull it off. i wouldn't be surprised. would you?

but really, if it is florida, bama takes a backseat to the florida rivalry.

I doubt it will be UF. And unfortunately, ND is going to have to completely break the bank to pull over meyer, like a really really big number.

Also you got to assume that weiss doesn't almost beat USC again cause that very well might get him another extension :crazy:

so you think he might pick florida over usc? so to say a UT/ UF battle?
