IMO, Scroggins easily could have been recruited over by UT next year. I'm not miserable at all over not getting him. It's not like he deliberately tried to screw up UT's QB recruiting, although certain posters on here would have you believe he did.

it's not over until he signs the dotted line. there's no rule that says he can't change his mind.

I didn't get a vibe that he was second guessing his decision.

I got a vibe that he was nervous, and they asked some pretty in depth questions.

Hey Scroggins good luck at USC. You are a good kid. No one should fault you over your decission. You had to do what you and your Daddy wanted. Would have loved to have you but we don't need anyone who is not 100% bleeding Orange. Old history.

Now Lane go out there and find us a Great Die Hard Bleeding Orange QB. Enough said:good!:

I would be willing to bet that a lot of Vol fans that say that don't want him now, would be happy as hell if he changed his mind (I'm not saying he will though). Bryce Brown made the college football world wait a long time and people on VN said they didn't want him because he was "playing this back and forth game," but were jumping for joy when he picked us. Give the kid a break, he still has until Feb. before he signs on the dotted line and it's his choice if he wants to ride the pine at USC.

My heart bleeds for you Jesse...But hey look at the bright side, Office depot is having a sale on some quality clipboards...These babies can take a beating no matter how many times you throw them they last!...So instead of preparing for a NFL career you will be getting a quality education and being a coaches assistant.

C'mon, surely you didn't let an indecisive, possibly a bit immature, teenage kid make you miserable. Just wish him well and get over it. We're going to be fine recruiting wise.

Cmon now, you can't tell me you enjoyed thread after thread of speculation that ran 600 pages long did you? Or running to the TV or newspaper on the day he was going to announce. Yes sir, he made a lot of people miserable. If he comes to UT or not wasn't the purpose for this thread. The purpose was to share this video and see him get told what many have said on here and that's that he may never see playing time at USC. I also thought many would find it funny that Carrol pulled the race card in his recruitment :cray:

wow so carrol played the race card to recruit scroggins. i couldnt even watch this whole video. left coasters sicken me. oh well not angry about it, we lost a tough recruiting battle. we'll be fine

I'll give you that, it was strange.

And to answer your question, I didn't read every thread. I think I might worry about folks that did.. My only problem with Scroggins is the three weeks. Other than that, I can totally understand his decision and hope he makes something of himself.

It's j. Scroggs things people need to know in life and that would be that im a leader not a follower...i dont follow the crowd... Im lookin for ways out so i can make myself and my family better...if u do me like i do me we can do eachother and be better...life goes so fast and has so little opportunitys... I dont want to be left behind bcuz of some stupid incident or i dont want to be 2 years from now playin bball at the park sayin i used to... the worst thing i fear in life is regret... j scroggs
