Agreed. Barkley's coach is comparing him to Peyton and USC's after the top 11 QB from CA named Max Wittek. Where does Jesse fit? :unsure:

TBH put 20-30 pounds on Bray and I would take him over anyone else in this class and I think we will get him. if he comes to the UCLA game like he is supposed to and we rock them like we did Cal in Knox a few years ago, I think he will be in awe of UT.

First off, I would expect Barkley to start the first game of the year against San Jose. It will burn his redshirt and it is a good sign for Scroggins.

SC will not go after Max Wittek, he is not even starting at his current school as a Junior so talk of a SC ride is a bit premature..

I don't think players are eligible for the NFL until they have been out of high school for 3 years.

I'm guessing he thinks he can do a Mark Sanchez. That's probably what CPK is telling him. That and that he'll unite the community which is a bunch O' crap.

Never say never with our staff. Tyler Bray has outperformed him in head to head competition. Get some meat on that boy's bone and we have a stud

Barkley is now getting snaps with the first teamers - LMAO @ Mustain

IMO Scroggins does a RS, sits @ QB for 1 maybe 2 yrs and moves to another position

Why would Scroggins change positions? He's too slow to be a WR and too small to be a TE.

Mustains decision to transfer to USC has got to be one of the dumbest moves ever, a fair challenge to the stupidity of Maurice Clarett thinking he could go pro at 19.

Not if he ends signing a multi-million dollar contract ala Matt Cassell. I think this kid has a lot of talent and just hasn't had the right opportunity.

A highly doubt any NFL teams are going to be beating the door down of a kid that's been beaten out by four (five? Did Booty do it?) college QBs already, one of whom was a true freshman.

I doubt it as well. But Cassell was a 7th rounder so they weren't beating down his door either. Cassell made the most out of the situation that was given to him. I guess my point was more to his talent level, and that he hasn't had an opportunity to prove anything.

Clarett was much closer to realizing that goal.

Mustain... that's just silly. If anyone is still paying attention to Scroggins in 4 or 5 years and can remember he could have been a Vol, that too will look silly.

Still, it seems he just wants to wear the Trojan uniform whether he plays or not. He's a USC Homer. What else can we say?

Scroggins to visit UT?
