So ESPN is reporting that Barkley will start for USC. This SHOULD make Scroggins think twice about going to USC, however, I am not saying that he will. If Barkley continues to play well throughout the season and locks down the starting job, it can only help UT's chances.

The thing everyone is forgetting is that USC will keep adding a 5 star QB every year to compete with JS for the starting job when Barkley is gone. JS could wind up never starting for USC because with everyone leaving for the NFL early, I think CPC will always try to start freshman QBs so he can keep them 3 years.

If scroggins comes to visit here, He wont go to usc. USC doesnt like their players visiting other schools, look at Alshon Jefferys case, and if he cam to visit here USC would drop him and move on.

Maybe its me but I don't think that Scroggins will ever be the starting OB at USC. He is only a 4 star QB in what most recruiting analyst believe bad year for QB's. So that means there will be better 4 and 5 star QB's coming up behind him. So no meaningful playing time for Scroggins
