The other QBs had better offers than San Diego State.
:lolabove:
To be fair, I don't know that I would call Boston College a better offer.
Maybe not BYU either but they are ranked at the moment so that's understandable. The whole Boston College thing though... whatever. I'm not a fan of anyone who would voluntarily go to Boston. The city, not the college.![]()
Would hope he is solid.
Best conference in the country. Check.
One of the largest stadiums in the country. Check
Pro Style offense. Check
4* 6-6 Wide Receiver. Check.
4* 6-2 Wide Receiver. Check.
4* 6-6 Tight End. Check.
That's assuming Delvin plays tight end. Throw in Cobbs and what more could you ask for? If quarterbacks don't want to play with all that, then they should quit football and play with themselves. What up.
BC and BYU have had a history of putting QBs in the NFL.
thats why we have QBS beating down the door right now to play here.. All im saying is what if we are not as productive as we all hoped and he does pick up some more big offers.. We are talking about high school kids
Yes you are correct sir.. But if he commits a week after he visits do you think he will be solid or open for offers.. Because im pretty sure he will get them and if he does before he commits to us(if he does) then it may take a lil longer.?.?.?
"Tennessee has been recruiting me very hard ever since the camp," Bray said. "I thought a few other schools might get involved as well but it has just been Tennessee and I'm really looking forward to this visit."
Bray said he still considers himself committed to San Diego State, but hasn't had a chance to talk with the Aztec coaches much lately.
"I've been really busy with school and practice so I haven't had a chance to talk with any coaches in awhile," Bray said.
"I'm just going to take this visit to Tennessee and then sort things out after I get home. I'm still figuring some things out about both of these schools but I could make a final decision shortly after I get back this weekend."
If he does indeed enroll early I wouldn't be surprised if started as a true freshman...

Let's hope not. Odds are if he is starting as a freshman it's because Stephens is really bad. Hopefully Stephens will have the system down and can have a solid senior season. That or hopefully it's because Bray just looks really awesome. If Bray was starting purely because Stephens stinks... pry not going to be a good season.

The staff knows what they're doing, they will only start him if he is ready play. Its mainly up to him, not the staff. He comes in and competes, works hard, and impress there is a good chance he will start. Enrolling early is big.
This assuming he even commits here.

I'm with jmva. I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting. Next year may be a rough year regardless of who the QB is. An extra year under Bray's belt would give him alot of experience for the future. No matter who the QB is, we are going to run Bryce, Oku, Poole, and (Dyer, Clements, Keon, Bernard) to death next year. The QB will only have to be a manager of the game instead of trying to win it...
He's going to make his decision shortly after visiting UT, right? So why would anyone think that after seeing the gameday atmosphere in Knoxville he would still want to go to SDSU? I know distance may be a factor, but come on. If he is serious about playing big time football at a big time program this one's over. Score one for us. Bray to Nuke/Teague/Ambles/Milton for six!
Tyler wants to meet both coaching staffs. He has already met SD St staff and he liked them a lot. He thinks he will like the staff at UT as well. He is graduating early. He will be ready to play as a freshman at either school. He is very mature mentally for a 17 year old kid and he has ice in his veins. Loves preasure. Just a note from a Kingsburg faithful.
He said he's 200 lbs.....gained 10 lbs in the past few months.
Would like to be 225 as college FR.
Distance has NO factor. Says his family is ready to move whereever he goes.
Self-evaluation --- strong/accurate arm, good footwork.
Fave QB is Manning.
Says he feels Kiffin is great coach with NFL experience.
Reaves is his primary recruiter.
Looking forward to seeing UT atmosphere.
Believes SEC is best conference in america.
Told his coaches theres a chance he may commit this weekend if things go right.
Never camped until this Summer......thinks that is how he may have flown under the radar.
