Look at the first 3 hits he puts on these dudes at the beginning & look at the moves he puts on as a TE the dude is an atheltic FREAK!

Make no mistake. Bray is the guy that leads us to many Big games wins. He will be better than any Qb we have ever had. He is the man. He is the one that cuts other teams to pieces. He's smart and he belives in him self. He's a winner. SEC he is your worst night mare. Freshman all american. He knows how to win. Bray will put Kiffins style of play into reality. Sec teams be scared, be very scared.

Better than Kingsburg or Tennessee's?

what a joke.

One, if not the best, players to come throught UT was a QB. He may be the best QB to ever play the game when its said and done. I want Tyler to be that good, but im not getting my hopes up.

Let's wait at least until he starts playing before we anoint him the next Manning.

If he can be about as productive as Erik Ainge was his last 2 years, good things will happen IMO.

Erik Ainge had freshman numbers as good as peytons but his sophomore numbers were like the old Crompton if bray can step in and be productive then I don't believe he will have a sophomore colapse.

You know... I remember alot of you guys predicting that B Brown would beat out Hardesty, that Askew would start at MLB, and other overhyped non-sense.

Bray is a fine prospect and I believe he'll has a chance of being a very good QB. However I will be amazed if he starts next fall barring an injury to NS. Simms might have a shot if he is offered and signs... but honestly I doubt that too.

Most underestimated Crompton and most are underestimating Stephens.

If Stephens was going to play next year, why didn't he come in when Crompton was struggling so much earlier and at least get some experience. And don't tell me it's because Crompton is "Kiffin's guy" and that Kiffin wanted to stick with just one guy. If Stephens could play, he would have come in when UT desperately needed better QB play. I'm thinking the fact that he hasn't come means the coaches don't see much in him.

Very true. That is why the race for the starting QB was so close and came down to the wire. If Stephens is improving as much as we have seen Crompton improve during this season, then Stephens will be a competent QB next year. Bray being an early enrollee will give him a great shot at the starting QB position next year as well. I'm not rooting for any one in particular...just put the best one on the field.

So I was just thinking, in January when Bray gets here someone needs to paint the sign

"Tyler Bray, you took err' jaaaabss." Signed, Slick Nick(s)

Personally, Simms might not be a bad choice for depth purposes, but I'd rather start Bray if CLK thinks he's ready. He would have no real advantage over Bray, IMHO, as he would be handed a playbook no earlier, and Bray has ALL the tools you want in a classic pocket passer (fast wheels would be a nice bonus, but not really required).

Cam Newton would be the only exception, IMO. Since Simms hasn't yet been offered, even though some experts (self-annointed) here have repeatedly said he was, I have to wonder if the staff isn't waiting til after the season, for a more full evaluation.

CEO said recently...On recruiting a quarterback for the 2010 class:

"We feel good about the guys that we're recruiting at quarterback, which is the No. 1 position that we had to go out there and find.

"We've got some that are committed to other schools that we still really like and that we're still going after. We will never stop.

"You've got to have a quarterback to win a championship."
