To you I am not embarrassed for posting messages about my nephew --- I have no affilation with any of the universities that has offered him a scholarship --- I'm just proud that he is reaching his goals --- educational/athletic -- no influence what so ever --- would you not be proud of a sibling if they were achieving?

Believe me i understand were you are coming from. I know you wish your nephew the best of luck in athletics & education, in which ever direction & university he so chooses. I actually have a nephew that plays for UT currently, & i posted on here wishing him well & I got FLAMED by other members on here. I was just kidding with you raw23, i was just trying to make a POINT to other members on here,that threw that negativity at me. Im going to leave it at that, but they know who they are!! :eek:hmy: For the most part there are alot of nice people on volnation that will support you & your nephew and wish him well.
I checked out the vid on your nephew & he looks like a awesome athlete & great playmaker on D! I think he would make a great fit in the new TENNESSEE 2!

I think the problem for the most part is there are a lot of trolls on here claiming to be something they are not and they are just trying to get things stirred up. It makes it hard sometimes to know who is the real deal so posters have their guard up. I think they figured you out so they left you alone but I am not familiar with what went on in your case. I am glad that your nephew choose UT and I hope he enjoys the remainder of his time left here.

Raw23, best of luck to your nephew at what ever university he decides to attend but I hope he likes UT orange though.:)

What kills me about the new NCAA rules is that they don't freaking let the media in the camps anymore. Just a few weeks ago we could get minute by minute updates and footage. I hate the new rules.

I checked, because I thought I was wrong, but this was from last week's war room.

Elsewhere in recruiting, the SEC has adopted another rule and is putting it into effect immediately. The league (and the NCAA is expected to follow) is eliminating all media access to football camps and basketball camps. That includes companies like Rivals. So after getting to watch guys work at the one day camps a week ago, we will not be afforded that chance at the overnight camps coming up when guys like Jesse Scroggins and those from Pahokee come to town.

So, the NCAA could have adopted it by now, but at first it was just the SEC.
