I would definitely say Jones will be on the offensive side of the ball. I would like to see him at TE, but I have a feeling he will be playing WR..

I was surprised when I got that answer from him. I just asked him what position he would be playing and he said WR. Maybe just wishful thinking on his part.

Yeah, I'm with ya there, he would be a beast at TE for sure. He told me he was for sure sticking with the Vols and that he would be at the basketball game this weekend while on his OV.

I just asked D. Jones what position is the staff recruiting him at, he said WR. I asked him is he still coming up for his visit this weekend he said yes for sure. I also asked are their any truth's to the rumors that he could be wavering on his commitment to UT he said no way he is all vol.

The staff has told D. Jones that he will get a look at WR first, and he will get every opportunity to make the rotation at WR. Once he sees the chance for immediate playing time at TE and not so much at WR, the change will be made.

Agreed. He could be a great WR, but I think he is more gifted for TE. Could be a monster there, a la Jermaine Gresham. I don't see him ending up on D.

My goodness man from the look in his eyes I say let him play where ever he wants....can you imagine a 6 foot DB coming full speed at that.....ouch! :blink:

He is just one of those athletes that would be good wherever you put him...seems to be that way with a lot of our recruits...love having athletic freaks! so many options..who knows he could prob even be a LB if he wanted to be

What if Nelson wants to come? I mean...we're getting tight on the 25 who can actually show up in the fall and we've still got 2-4 OL out there who are supposedly committing.

Maybe if Nelson and Taylor both are coming for sure, but I would still doubt it. We need LBs, and the staff likes Williams...

that is wierd. they both recently cancelled a visit for Ole Miss at the same time and now they both cancel a UT visit. they carpooling or something?
