Yeah. I personally think it will help the player out doing that then just going to a regular high school.

Austin Price bringing good news---

The coaches were cool and I like coach Orgeron a lot. I love the defense they run because it's a go getter defense. They are all from NFL or as people say 'the league'.

on transferring to Hargrave---

It will be hard to leave my family, that's what made this a hard decision. But it's like a business decision. It's what's best for my football future.

If he sustains this business mentality, he'll be in Knoxville to learn under the tutelage of Orgeron and Monte.

really? obviously has the size - but I figured Rivals/Scout usually changed them to their projected position for college on the players page.

He would be a very athletic DT. Very smooth in his films

So I just read the Rivals article on Ego. I was a little confused as to why he was going to Hargrave first. I knew he had solid grades, so I didn't think he needed to go to prep school for that reason. I also thought Hargrave was just for post HS players so I thought he was going to go after his senior yr. Not the case at all. He is going there now so that he can compete and train with better athletes. He is doing it in preparation for college. This kid has head scewed on straight. He's awesome!

If Ego's going to be a DT what are our chances of landing him? I know we already have two DT commits and were going after Quarles and Hailes. Who's our top priorities and do you think we could end up with five DT's in this class?

The thing with Ego is that he'll be able to slide inside and out with his athleticism. So if we do get him watch for him to play everywhere on the line. He's a true monster.

Is he going to want to commit to a team that already has 2 commits and going after a few others hard tho? I just dont know where we stand with him I think he'd be a great pickup for us but I think if it came down to him or like Hailes i'd rather have Hailes

It sounds like competition isn't a big deal to him. He wants to be the #1 player in the country and is going to Hargrave to play with college athletes while he's in his senior year at Hargrave. He's going to have a huge leg up on any other prospect we can get just because of that.

Ego has been my favorite D line prospect. He is an intelligent young man an now is making extra sacrifices to improve his game by going to Hargrave. Watch his vids and interviews and u will see an articulate young man. He had leader written all over him

It's not a definite that Ego will play DT. He has the size and the ability to put on weight to make the move inside. But I dont know if that's the plan of the coaches. I would rather have him at DE, but that's just me...

I would too. But I think on third down they'll move him inside.
