I don't have as much invested here as LV, Sab and others. I don't follow recruiting like they do. I seriously don't think they sleep.... ever. So just speaking for myself I have no problem with you (GME) and other rival fans who come on here and act like adults. We know why you come here... Volnation is the best message board period and the best source of free info on recruiting there is...

Well said, M1. GME is good people. There are several good Rival posters on this board. There are also trolls who come here just to try and convince us we aren't landing this prospect or that one and there's no chance. So kind of them to try and rescue us from certain disappointment.

I was all over Tigerdroppings last year for their side on the prospects we were going head to head for. You can never get enough info.

Am I scared of LSU...Nope. Am I scared of UT...Nope.

We have Urban Meyer who is a good enough coach to win 2 our of the last 3 MNC and as his team #1 overall this year. Will you guys beat us within the next year or two...Probably but thats SEC football and thats why its the best conference in the nation. The best players, coaches and fans.

Getting info on UF targets hardly means Im scared...but assume away. :good!:

If Nuke had come to UF it would have been the same situation as with UT. He would be on the bench not contributing. We have some depth at WR it has just been injuries that has hurt us and not having other young WRs step up. Nuke wasn't even the best WR in our class last year. Debose was our number 1 target, but unfortunately he got injured. Plus it is hard to blame Meyer for thinking we had Nuke locked up, considering he was committed to us for so long.

I trust Meyer knows what he is doing far more than any other poster when it comes to recruiting.

If we were to lose Elam, which I don't think we will given Elam's relationship with Meyer, it won't put us in a terrible situation depth wise. We still have a lot of players at safety, and instead of trying to convert some of them to OLBs we can just keep them at S. We have addressed pretty much all our needs with this class so far and any other recruits we can get our +1s for the most part.

Just too much power for one 18 year old kid to have over an entire recruiting class when you have players that want to be gators and don't mind earning their keep with egos left at the door.

This is so sad for me as a gator fan but it's the truth. I wish there was a free gator message board that was this good. This board is better than many of the pay sites I belong too. I just want to thank all the insider posters for contributing such great info and keep it coming.

The regular posters have doubled since i've joined it seems like..thats a testament to all the mods, freak, and the insiders that do a great job. It's also a testament to the passion of vol fans for our program. Probably more than any program i can think of other than maybe bama

Thats what makes this board so special is the fact that there are so many different views that are not bias that come from all over the country. New info is put in almost all the time.

compared to how its been since the season started this place was a ghost town over the summer. The regulars were still here but these gator fans and alot of the students that now post weren't around. It's good in the end but I still wonder why rivals feel the need to contribute when they've stated they're here to GET information.

Im all for the rivals contributing, especially when they make sense. there's more then enough one-sided info on this board. IMO an outsiders perspective is a good thing

I come here more for enjoyment and reading other fans perspectives. I only pay attention to threads that involve gator players for the most part. I have a gator board that I am on more frequently that I get my info from.
