I want Meyer to stay right where he's at. For a long time! Kiffin's coming for him. No one stays on the top forever. Kiffin has a vendetta against your coach. He will overtake him in the SEC and I want to see this play out in full. I really, really hope Urb stays! This isn't Spurrier vs Fulmer. The rivalry will never be as strong as it's about to become. We now have a coach who isn't afraid. Just keep that in mind.

I got nothing but love for ya, LV, but this is just getting old. Florida has plenty of talented players to replace them. We will not begin beating the Gators due to a drop-off in talent. The reality is, we don't need them to become less for us to become more. It's already happening. UF will be good next year and the year after and the year after. As long as Urban's at the helm (which I hope is for awhile) they'll be one of the top teams in the nation, w/ or w/o Tebow, Spikes, Strong, etc. Urban is the key.

However, that doesn't mean begin beating them finally. Kiffin's got this game at the the top of his list. But we won't start beating them b/c they'll become weaker. So let's refocus the trash talking back to reality. We beat 'em, we beat 'em at their best cuz that's what we're gonna have to do, bro.

We still beat UT with Nick or frail boy under center plus no EB and Hardesty next year. It's going to be great fighting it out for the next few years...bullpup meat has lost its taste. Vader, lighten up... you never lose your cool IMO.

To get this thread back on track let me just point something out worth watching.

Luc = expected EE
Elam = expected EE

both are looking at the same schools (w/ the exception of WVU for Elam)
both have similar visiting patterns
both were considered to be "hanging out" during their UT visit before being interviewed
both have shown a disliking of the recruiting process, Luc being particulary hard to read
both are elite FL players w/ strong relationships to UF staff (E=UM, L=CS) and early leans/commits
both have had growing interest in UT throughout the fall and Monte, in particular
both are in huge positions of need for UT, in particular, and are top priorities besides just being "can't miss" prospects

It may turn out to be nothing but I'm just saying it is possible that it may become something to keep an eye. I'm not saying that they plan to go to the same school but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't become a factor, even if small, esp if both do early enroll, as expected.

Elam's comment today on his blog is important. He wouldn't have said that shortly after his 2-hr convo w/ Urban. He may still turn. We gotta get Luc's mother up here imo. I'm not so sure he's the lock some FL VQers are saying he is although I still think he goes to UT as long as he early enrolls.

I still for the life of me cannot figure out why Elam would want to go to WVU. Hopefully, Cincy lays the wood to them this week.
