in case you all haven't caught on, which apparently most of you haven't, meyer has a different staff almost every year. He's got a coaching tree full of good coaches. You all talk on here like lane kiffin could sway a recruit from urban meyer or nick saban, or that lane even belongs in the same conversation with those two. I'm sure none of you care because you're all in your own little world, but the rest of the country is getting a pretty good laugh out of all the threads implying that kiffin might even be a possibility for a position with USC. There are literally probably 100 out of the 119 fbs coaches with more experience head coaching than lane, and with better records.
Florida is reloading with a quickness
we really needed those two guys, one of which REALLY worked out. There's always one or two guys that would rather go start right away for a terrible team rather than having to sit the bench for 2 years as a 5 star.
You all look at other teams message boards too, especially for recruiting.
By reloading I mean picking up the number 1 class in the country.

Nope no Tebow clone though Burton could develop into that over time with Loeffler coaching him up. Doesn't really matter though because we've got RJR Brantley for the next two years and we won a national title with Tebow playing glorified fullback.I'm sorry. Does Florida have a Tebow clone in this class? How about Harvin clone? No?
Im not concerned.

You all talk on here like lane kiffin could sway a recruit from urban meyer or nick saban... which of course, he has, so my point is moot. What a complete and utter fool I appear to be. Because, as everyone knows, the entire country reads Volnation regularly. There are literally probably 100 out of 119 other gator trolls on this site that are less irritating and more welcome here than I am, but for some reason, I'm still here running my mouth.
Florida, despite being equally, if not more, loaded with talent, got embarrassed in the SECC game, is reloading with even more unbelievable talent, but will be missing Tebow next year, who, as we all know saved our asses times beyond number this season, and our coach seems to be at best confused about his life, at worst borderline bi-polar, and will be installing a new offense, with new coaches, and we're not even sure if our coach is going to be back next year, but we think he is, this week he says he is, but anyways we feel good about it, we're Florida, we're better than everyone... what are you all looking at - stop staring at me!
The Gators came in with these coaches and won the 2006 national title with them.the post about florida's coaching staff constantly changing makes zero sense...his staff has kept its core and now it has lost all of it except for Addazio...the core has been replaced in a rush with guys that are not at the level of what you lost..gatorland should be in a freakout mode because your boy Urban is gone after NSD

As far as a Harvin clone we got that last year in Andre Debose. 13-1 without a Harvin-esque player on the field ain't too shabby.

These left prior to 2008 national championship season:
Co-DC and Defensive line coach Greg Mattison
Safeties coach Doc Holliday
RB coach Stan Drayton
These left prior to 2009 13-1 season:
OC and QB coach Dan Mullen
TE/FB coach John Hevesy
You are deeply in denial...
The offense was not great this year. You are losing TONS of talent to graduation and early declarations for the draft.
Meyer is going to be at 75% of his former self if he returns at all.
You lost Dan M and your offense sucked.
You lose Strong, and now your defense will take a step back.
We win in Knoxville and feel incredibly happy, and then the shine comes off when you lose 2-3 more games in the regular season.

This year isn't really all that much more turnover compared to the previous two years. As to the comment of that they aren't to the level of the ones we lost is awfully premature. In 2005 most of the coaches we brought in had similar track records. Though you've got to keep in mind a lot is also defined by the head coach which is still Urban Meyer. I certainly remember a lot of Gator fans were puzzled by Charlie Strong being retained given how his defenses performed for Ron Zook.
I like how you claim I'm in denial and then assert that the Gators are going to return to 8 win seasons. Urban Meyer is not returning to Ron Zook territory.
Florida wins a minimum of 10 games next year. We've only lost 8 starters so far and the 2007 recruiting class class (you know that pesky little one was #1 in the country) will be seniors. Heck the Gators won 9 games in 2007 (a year where even the national champion had 2 losses) after having to replace 14 starters from the year before and had to rely on a ton of freshmen.
...who people questioned whether the true sophomore could even pass the ball before the season started and was forced to compensate for a defense that lost 12 of its top 14 players from the year before, had to rely heavily on freshmen and defensive middle got racked with season ending injuries that necessitated the conversion of Mike Pouncey to defensive tackle. With a Heisman Trophy winner...
