You're right. I guess I misread the box score. He made one from 47. I think the two misses in regulation were from pretty far away, though.

That's part of the problem. Lincoln's range is extremely limited. Gary Anderson in his later years limited.

I think he can hit them from beyond 50, but his accuracy from that distance obviously isn't great. Fulmer definitely avoided letting him kick long fields goals in 2007, thus his great percentage that year.

Also don't forget that we had a somewhat competent offense that could actually drive down the field to make the distances shorter for Lincoln.

That actually makes me nervous that LSU got in late, but he still puts them in the final two. That must mean he really likes them.

Eric told me on Live last night that he thinks it's already a done deal for him to be a Vol. Per someone he talked to.

man i hope all the rumors are true....#1 kicker in the country
I could be happy with us losing Scroggins and getting Rettig and Newton instead...but losing on this guy would be harder to recover from. Can't emphasize enough how important keeping the opponents kickoff returners rested and rusty really is.

This would be a great pick-up...this class is taking shape nicely. Get the kicker and the punter w/one scholly and next up is Scroggins.

i dont think anybody cares as much about recruiting right now than this website.
