Kid talked to Daniel Lincoln. Lincoln told him out of the two coaching staffs he has worked with, this staff was his favorite. Probably because we actually have a dedicated Special Teams Coach.

There's no other coaching staff in the nation he would play for. Coming from a kicker playing for two coaching staffs and with the transition, coming from him it's a big deal. It definitely opens my mind to a lot of things."

"I'm overwhelmed by the facilities and stuff that are here. And talking to coach Kiffin, I can tell already that people love playing for him. He's a great guy. He's not just a stern football coach. He's also a guy you can just talk to or say whatever."

So where are the Vols among the dozen or so programs who already have offered? "Up there. Up there," he emphasized. "Up there for sure."

Is this a miss by rivals, or does Corey Acosta really not have an offer?

While not talked about very often, but important for this class is a kicker. And it appears that Tennessee has two at the top of that board. Florida standout Michael Palardy, who was in Knoxville last weekend and Memphis standout Corey Acosta. Palardy’s visit was simply an unofficial visit, while Acosta’s last trip to Knoxville was for camp where he was the best kicker there from what we saw.

Palardy would be an excellent pickup. Kicker and Punter all in one. Isnt it some TN law that our punter has to have the last name Colquitt though? That could work against us.

Awesome. I think we have a little bit more need of a kicker than LSU so I'd say this may work out.

I actually think there is another Colquitt though thats gonna be a freshman next year in HS. Or thats what I"ve heard at least. I really don't know.

He would be a huge pick up in a well needed position. Fingers crossed on him.
