"Daniel (Lincoln) was actually telling me that if he could go back and do the whole recruiting process over again, he would play for this coaching staff. There's no other coaching staff in the nation he would play for. Coming from a kicker playing for two coaching staffs and with the transition, coming from him it's a big deal. It definitely opens my mind to a lot of things."
"I'm overwhelmed by the facilities and stuff that are here. And talking to coach Kiffin, I can tell already that people love playing for him. He's a great guy. He's not just a stern football coach. He's also a guy you can just talk to or say whatever."
So where are the Vols among the dozen or so programs who already have offered? "Up there. Up there," he emphasized. "Up there for sure."
While not talked about very often, but important for this class is a kicker. And it appears that Tennessee has two at the top of that board. Florida standout Michael Palardy, who was in Knoxville last weekend and Memphis standout Corey Acosta. Palardy’s visit was simply an unofficial visit, while Acosta’s last trip to Knoxville was for camp where he was the best kicker there from what we saw.
Michael Palardy, the number 1 kicker / punter in the nation, will be deciding between Tennessee and LSU.
