You people constantly b*tching about facebook stalkers every time it's mentioned are worse than the stalkers to begin with.

For the record, I dont even have a face book account. I did a google search the other day on him and clicked the facebook link and thats his profile picture. Dude mentioned his gf, so without pics his comment was empty. I just gave it purpose.

I happen to know this young man, his family, and have met the young lady as well. This is the last thing you should be doing. I also know that his family would not look kindly on this and this would be the fastest way to have him walk away from Tenn. You can make all the excuses and justify it anyway you want, but he's 17 years old and a great kid. He nor his parents would not want him to see this on this site. There are schools out there that would love to see him walk away and come to their program. This is just the kind of thing that would cause that to happen. He, and those on his team, are the kind of young men that any university would be glad to have representing them as the face of their football program. That is a best recruiting tool...not anything like those involved in the most recent incident at Tenn. You may want to rethink the invasion of his privacy. Food for thought.

Well, I removed my post but invasion of privacy? lol

Its a picture viewable by anyone who googles his name which is how I actually saw it. If it was something someone didnt want seen it shouldnt be on the internet period.

If he decommits because his facebook PROFILE picture (meaning it can be seen by anyone and everyone with an internet connection) is posted in a forum then the kid needs to lighten up a bit.

I hope this isn't a sign of anything but he just unexpectedly defriended me on fb. Of course I would probably also if I had no idea who a kid was, but I didn't even attempt to talk to him on fb. I hope nothing is amiss. Darn you social networking

That is easy for you to say, but flip the switch and think about what you might be doing or saying if it were your family member. I'm all for sharing thoughts, opinions and ideas via this medium, but why must it always be taken to the lowest common denominator. Sarcasm, "lighten up", when it comes to someone else is easy to say when you are sitting behind a computer. Sometimes we go too far and take too many liberties with privacy of others. That pic should never have been posted. I'm sure that taking those types of liberties will not endear you to the very young men and women who Tenn. fans cheer for as they make you proud to be Vol. Why don't you let it go at that? Remove the pic, and focus on what this kid will do to make you proud that he represents your football program, and that he made the right choice to be a VOL!!!

Yeah I agree that fans should not try to be friends with these kids on fb unless you truly know them. It is kinda creepy. I regret doing it, but I was just bored one day.

Going on someones facebook is not stalking...

Stalking is unwanted attention.. So if he posts stuff on his "social network" it is free game unless he makes it private.

I just feel that if 300 people I have never meet tried to friend me based on the fact I chose their favorite team is kind of sketchy, but that's just me

I don't think looking the kid up on facebook is as big as posting a picture of him with his girlfriend then commenting on her. I mean come on guys...
