I don't think ND is a huge factor.

his loyalties are to FSU, his father andbrother played there...but as we all know that team is incomplete dissaray...

it's amazing that we have made his top 3 despite the fact he hasn't even been to UT...that visit from monte must have been huge!

let's see where we stand after the visit this saturday...we have been blowing guys away on officals...we may be the leader after his v

After Tennessee, Jones will visit Oklahoma for the Texas A&M game on the weekend of Nov. 14 and he will visit Southern Cal on Thanksgiving weekend for the UCLA game. He'll have one more visit after that but he has yet to decide where he'll go.

Jones does not plan any "official" visits to the Florida schools since he has already been to the campuses numerous times. So that leaves his final official, allotted visit down to Alabama, Michigan or Notre Dame.

Him not ever going to UF for an official is great for us.

I don't think it's that big since he has visited the home state school numerous times already and he can still visit anytime he wants.

saw christian after the game with corey miller, ben martin, and chris walker! i talked to them for a few minutes and they all seemed pumped after the game! corey miller kept going on and on about the black jerseys and christian seemed to like them as well. I told christian i need to see him in knoxville next year, and corey miller assured me "oh, he'll be here!"

hopefully from hanging out with walker and miller all weekend he'll commit soon. he was a monster in person... i would hate to meet that guy with some pads on!! he would be a great sign! :rock2:

He seemed like a quiter guy... Corey was pretty outspoken and clearly excited about knoxville. I think christian spending a weekend with him and chris walker would be a good push at placing tennessee at the top of his list. They would not stop talking about how nuts the game was and how much they liked the black jerseys! Hopefully we'll here good news soon on this guy, but with be official visits upcoming for him I doubt we here anything til closer to national signing day.

Think Jones had a great weekend here at UT but some of these guys keep their recruitment pretty quiet and I think Jones and Green will be two guys that hold out until the end on which way they are going. I think this weekend gave him something to think about though.

I was listening to a podcast that James Bryant was on and he said he expects some news to come out about Jones soon..he said it in a way of a commitment since he was talking about Adams and Thompkins and then said expect news on Jones and Mensie soon

This is the kid who we should watchout for IMO over the next few weeks out of the high schoolers who took official visits this weekend. He had a great visit to Tennessee. Him and Luc together would be absolutely enormous for the LB corp.

Go look at the Farrell chat transcripts today on the recruiting main board. He specifically addresses Jones being a FSU/MIAMI/TENN battle and in the past he has said it's only Tennessee and FSU.

Things are just sounding really good right now. That could change if FSU gets everything straightened out. Monte is really winning over these Tampa defensive players...
