'10 GA ATH Da'Rick Rogers

true indeed, but we just cant magically make high quality Off. Lineman wanna come here in less than a week.
Da'Rick is the kinda guy U hand a scholly to, if he's interested regardless of need.

I agree completely but I'm very worriedvabout the future of our OL. James being an EE is huge, hopefully Pair and Fulton have what it takes, disregarding the whole star system with those two.

We need Stone.

Back to Rogers and Nance, so many rumors floating around right now, I would not be surprised to see them in orange, then again I wouldn't be surprised to see them stay put where they are. Way to go out on a limb huh? Lol.

I apologize if this link has already been posted,

Da’Rick Rogers ’still committed’ to UGA but serious about Vols | AJC College Sports Recruiting

but I was reading some of the comments from the UGA fans and quite honestly I'm shocked at how many have simply turned their backs on Rogers for taking the visit to Knoxville. They've gone as far as saying you don't deserve to play at UGA if you are considering Tennessee.

Kind of reminds me of how some folks are acting on here about Ambles....:ermm:[/QUOTE/]

what site are you going to to read about the uga fans?

That's been posted already but that's alright.

Some are pissed cause of where he is looking, I get it, don't endorse it but I understand where they are coming from.

AJC for content, I can't stand the way that Dawgvent is set up, makes my head hurt.

#Vols definitely in the picture. RT @lambdinj: @wesrucker I'm hearing new Da'Rick Rodgers rumors this morning. Anything new? 25 minutes ago from TweetDeck

Some of the Georgia posters on that article were jumping all over the author because apparently in last few days he has been trying to stir things up by writing articles about recruits being unhappy and opening up their options again. I hope he is accurate with his info. and not trying to stir things up as they are saying.

yet another rumor thread that was started by an idiot who heard someone irrelevant say something on a random board.

Take it for what it's worth, but this is the response a few minutes ago in a chat with Barton Simmons, Rivals recruiting analyst for the Southeast and Texas when asked about the Da'Rick-Nash situation:

"the Da'Rick, Nash situation is one of the more interesting storylines down the stretch to me. I think it's a real threat to pull those guys, otherwise they wouldn't be being so cryptic and quiet about things right now. In the end though, i just have a hard time seeing Rogers leaving and a hard time seeing TN take Nash."

Not exactly a clear-cut opinion one way or another as far as whether the Vols get them, I guess. Later when someone asked which player in this class he felt would have the best chance to win the Heisman, he said he thinks Da'Rick might have the biggest upside of any player in the 2010 class though he does not think a receiver from the SEC is likely to win it. He went on to mention Lattimore, Robert Woods and Dyer as possible candidates down the road.

Nothing earth shattering. Just thought some folks might be interested in his opinions.
