'10 GA RB Mack Brown

UF couldn't run it, and when Bama got the lead, and made Tebow a pocket passer, they teed off on him.

Florida actually ran the ball pretty well, they just abandoned it. Of the 4 carries our RBs got, 3 of them went for 9 yards. The offensive gameplan was just completely unbalanced throwing the ball way too much, even before the game got out of hand.

Alabama's offensive gameplan was much better, and they executed almost flawlessly. The better team definitely won today.

Hate to lose, but it happens.

Bottom Line: Bad as I hate to say: Bammer kicked Fla's butt in every aspect IMO. As far as Brown goes.....I think he would be used more at TN as a true back and not just a decoy.

Bama fans were rockin' the Georgia Dome from beginning to end. Florida just looked like another team on and off the field. It was a strange sight to see with Florida getting destroyed. Bama should have put up 40+.

It just looked like Florida had no intensity. Hopefully this loss will fuel them for next year.

It just looked like Florida never made it on the bus while Bama came to play.

how many RBs has CUM coached that have gone to the nfl? 0? if its more than that its definitely not any starters. I can understand WR maybe but RB or QB no way i'd go to uf. Vols have NFL offensive coach and legendary defensive coordinator.

With all due respect, :hi: Kiffin was right. Saban out-coached Meyer.

Saban put together a brilliant offensive game plan that seemed to keep the Gator defense off-balance. Ditto on the defensive side; Bama's defense was ready for all of Florida's plays. Did Meyer install anything new on offense for this game? Or did he just assume that the Gators could just show up and win?

The offensive play calling in this game was pretty pathetic. We were completely unbalanced throwing vs passing and Alabama dominated the entire game. As bad as the offense was, the defense was worse.

I honestly think that with Brantley as QB next year we will be a better, and less predictable, offense.

I don't think Mack Brown will be seeing all that much of the field though next year with Moody, Demps, Rainey, and Gillislee all coming back, unless he comes in and is a complete stud.

So basically what you're saying is Kiffin was right, Bama was better coached and implemented a better game plan right?

If I was Notre Dame, I would take note of this game and be on the phone with Saban.

I sort of disagree. We moved the ball against UA. We just didn't have the ball enough because our defense was so poor. Clearly Meyer wanted to attack them through the air and Tebow had a solid day outside of the horrible INT in the endzone. If we had more TOP and weren't forced into a hole early, we probably put up 24+ points.

Brown won't see a great deal of PT next year unless he is REALLY good. Moody will be the primary RB with Brantley at QB. Demps and Rainey will get some carries as well. I think Van could be the sleeper as he enrolls early and we will see what he can do. Mack Brown could be the primary RB as early as his Sophomore year though.

They wanted it far more than we did and Saban had been preparing for UF all summer. I didn't think that meant much but clearly it did. You can bet that Meyer is going to prepare for Alabama all winter and spring. He will be watching tape of the 2007 Sugar Bowl because our offense will look like Utah's offense last year. It is a chess-match between Meyer and Saban. Meyer had the early advantage and when Saban dedicated himself to watching more and more footage of what we do, he gained the edge. Now Meyer has the "underdog" mentality and he can prepare and try to counter what Saban did.

UF will never beat Bama again as long as Saban is there. Mark it down...Meyer is way overhyped and not a chess player he plays checkers. It is what it is.

i agree with you 100%. meyer will never win another championship or beat alabama again. people have figured out how to stop their offense ever since tennessee played them and monte figured out how to stop them. meyer is no great coach at all and talent cant win ya everything. got to have good coaches

No way you could say that. I think Saban will have the winning record btw the two, but to say UF will never beat bama is a little bit ridiculous. And I will 'mark it down', and you will probably be wrong.

meyers program will never be the same.... one of the best college football players ever is leaving...... i doubt florida will ever be the same.... mark it down... florida will win at most 9 games next year

Ok this 'mark it down' stuff has got to stop. You can't predict the future, face it, and if you're wrong you'll just forget about it, but if you're right you'll gloat and say 'see, I told yall'

This is a message board "mark it down"...I will make more predictions as will others. And Meyer is the equivalent of a checkers player as a coach...as a recruiter he is more of a chess player not with his XOs.

Fine. If you want to sound like a complete fool, be my guest.

I would take a bet with anyone that feels this way that UF beats Alabama 1 time at least next year. They might lose, but I would definitely feel good about taking that bet.

lol wut? How many times do you expect them to play next year? Actually, you're probably right, I heard Slive changed up the rules next year. Instead of playing the normal conference schedules, FU and Bama will play each other 12 times. Winner of the head to head is crowned All Time National Champion

There's a good chance that they play each other twice next year and I like the odds that they win one of the games. I don't think Florida will be way better than Alabama or anything, but I think it's over a 50% chance that they beat them at least once.

Mark it down....This is a stupid comment. I hate Meyer as much as the next guy but he is a good coach and alot of you are selling him short.
