'10 GA RB Mack Brown

Moody had 14 yards rushing last night enough said. Brown needs to consider other schools

and 2 TDs against a stacked box. it's cause and effect. Cincy tried to take away the run game and did so pretty effectively but left their secondary exposed for nigh on 500 yards passing. Brantley's not going to be the runner that Tebow is and they are adapting to have more I-formation sets like they did with Leak in 2005 and 2006. there will be opportunities for carries for him.

swampy, how many carries did UFs RBs have against Bama? yea haha V,B...
that was as big a mystery to me as anyone else as they were averaging almost 7 yards per carry. look at the carries the rest of the year and the year before.

Florida's current spread is a run heavy and will become a little more balanced with Brantley but we aren't going to be Texas Tech or Cincinnati. The backs will get their carries and a lot of them.

Noel Devine, Coery Blunt(before the punch), Steve Slaton did pretty well in spread zone offense. Problem against UF is they haven't settled on which back is primary back. Lots of carries to go around with Tebow gone.

U f has run a backyard offense since the beginning of time, but hey, it works unfortunately.

Don't worry Mack Brown will be the primary back and will get more carries than Demps, Rainey, or Moody. They may even move one or two of them to the secondary. In related news, that kid from Jacksonville, Tebow? I heard he's moving to LB so Jevan Snead can play QB.

Moody graduates after next season and Demps and Rainey the following year.

The #1 recruit in the nation Bryce Brown played second fiddle this year at UT.

Hardesty is a real RB in front of Brown. I don't even know what to call Demps and Rainey. They aren't RBs though, that's for sure...

Pretty sure Demps had better numbers frosh year than BB. BB looks like a little overrated at the moment.

I don't care what his numbers are. He's not an RB. Moody is the only RB on UFs squad and he's useless in that pee wee offense...

5th year senior Hardesty- 4.8 ypc
true freshman Brown- 4.6 ypc

And that's running behind a OL with 2 walk-ons and converted freshman TE at RT...

Please stop LV, you're making too much sense for a person who just tried to compare stats with Bryce Brown and Demps/Rainey.

See Mike Gillislee.

And instead of operating behind a veteran offensive line true sophomore Brown will be working behind a thin offensive line consisting entirely of either true freshmen or guys who weren't good enough to beat out the 2 former walk-ons and a converted freshman TE.

I'm not really sure who you were watching this year if you're referring to Tennessee's Oline "veteran".

Seriously though, since Brown is overrated does it matter what kind of line he will be running with?

And realistic fans are going to tell you it isn't going to be very easy next year either. I do think there will be more *talent* on the offensive line incoming, but they will need development and strength training. I think a lot of people will say if Brown were to struggle in 2011 as a junior then he might not be all that he was cracked up to be, but seriously he played well in 100 carries in a pro-style offense. He's done nothing to indicate that he isn't going to be a dynamic RB even if he's not behind the best of lines.

What are we arguing about? Just remind me and I'll come back into the fight. I just said Demps and Rainey weren't RBs and now we are talking about Bryce's ability to succeed next year. What happened?

I'm just saying, he didn't look as electric as thought to be. Don't get mad.
