and even then, USC won't get anything near as bad as bama got for paying its players

Iirc they meet on feb 19-21 for USC and 6-8weeks later will let the Fate of USC be known!

Probably not but at least we won't be on probation, lose scholarships and be ineligible for a bowl game.

From the outside in it looks like Ambles is all but enrolled at USC, but who knows what he's thinking. His father confirmed that Ambles wasn't committed to USC but did enjoy his visit.

Somewhat, but not as bad as it could be. We'll still have two legit tackles and Stone can make us a legit guard. I have to assume we can manage a guard and center out of what we have on hand.

That said, how short are we going to be?

My problem is where we're going to be at safety and LB.

Stone is our last chance at getting any more OL I think. Don't think we get anyone else unless it is someone way off everyone's radar and in that case would likely mean someone without a lot of upside.. a body.

Hope we don't take any kids we aren't comfrotable can play SEC level football. Save the scholarship and try for EE in next class. You take a kid you aren't sure can play, you might have just tied up a ship for 5 years ala Shaw, C Nelson and V Thomas
