I know, and as a Florida fan I was severely disappointed. With that said, according to GC, he may visit this weekend. We wont land him, but that's the word floating around.

I know it's absolutely a fan wishing here, but I find it funny how he's considering all of our rivals and the low-life in Southern Cal. It'd be hilarious if he was stringing all of them along just to disappoint them on NSD and still be a Vol. One can dream...

I honestly don't care where he goes as long as he doesn't end up at Southern Cal. I don't care for Kiffin, and USC fans are irritating.

We probably do pick up Ambles. But I don't know if I want him. I mean, it's hard to scoff at 5 star talent. And I don't think theres any doubt that he is the best wr in the class... If we get him, I hope that Dooley disciplines the kid like a red headed stepchild. I also hope that in spring practice, Janzen Jackson catches him over the middle and knocks the hollywood out of him. But we'll have to wait and see. If he doesn't end up a Vol, the only reason I will be worried is if he's somewhere else in the sec. We're gonna be deep at wr, even without him.

The longer he drags this out, the less far-fetched it becomes.

OTOH, I'm not sure he's DD's kind of personality. We'll see I guess.

I hope that if he's in Orange and White, he meets Janzen over the middle and lays out Janzen.

Earlier this week, ambles hosted lsu coach les miles and some tigers assistants, and they expect him to visit baton rouge this weekend

A couple of interesting notes on Ambles profile on Rivals.

His pic has been updated and he is no longer wearing the Tennessee hat.

But, his visit this weekend to LSU is not listed anymore and LSU is now Medium Interest and not High. Still High - UNC, USC, UT. UT is the only one he hasn't taken an OV to.

Dudleys87, what makes you so confident that we get Ambles? I think he is the #1 WR recruit in the country and would love to have him, but the news hasn't seem good lately. What do you know that everyone else doesn't?

That would be Kyle Prater. Da'Rick Rogers is #2 and Ambles #3.
