Damn, that's cool. You over there now? I'm guessing you came in for undergrad at UT? Or you over here now staying in the US? Sorry, will be back to all FB & recruiting after this brief tangent. haha

No worries. I am here now living it up big in the states. I love SA, but this is where all the opportunities are.

I go back often though, so I that is a bonus.

And you are the first person to figure out my screen name... well done!

:hi:

I did. I just never said anything. I assume you Have been to Kruger. Is it worth going to see? I'm not wealthy so it would have to be one of those trip of a lifetime things.

Dude, you don't have to be rich to go to Kruger. The plane ticket to SA is way more expensive than a safari. 3-400 american $ gets you a pretty cool company guided safari for 3-4 days. That's a more budget/reasonable option. Obviously, you can go higher & get pretty lavish with what all's included, but no way do you have to be bling to go.

Oh, also, check out Detour travel co. in Cape Town. They have a website, but if you google them you'll find it. It will end in .co.za. They are great to work with & can hook you up with lots of travel options in all southern African countries. Also, they work with many travel/safari companies, including Bundu, which is pimp. They led my Kruger tour. Very small co with great customer service & personalization. Def check both those out. NB: Bundu was bought out recently by a larger company, but if you book through Detour (my friend recently went & relayed me this info), you can still get their lower prices (the bigger co. upcharges if you buy through them). So, you gots to go straight to the source.

Windy, the WC will be amazing. I have tickets, just need to finalize transportation.

Ulysees, yes, I have been to Kruger and it is worth every penny - the flight is expensive, but once you are in SA the dollar goes a really long way. Food and drink are really cheap. A once in a lifetime opportunity it is.

Another great bush lodge is Kwa Maritane

Damn! Nice! I don't have anything yet. You have to give pp#'s of guests & all, & my friends that way are not committing. And, b/c they all live in CT, & I think games there are sold out, we'd have to road trip maybe to Durban (which would be fine with me, since it's cold in CT in the winter), but I can't get them pinned down to a Y/N on being flexible with the ticketing. And, I don't think I can finalize an order w/o a decent amt of info from them (that correct?).

What are the odds we're super pissing other ppl off on here who want to here more MA news? haha

They can get over it ... threads get derailed all the time. Plus there is not much else that needs to be said about Ambles...

he is a Vol in my opinion.

And yes, you are correct about needing info... tickets are super hard to come by and most are sold already - at least the local allotment.

First part: Hope you're right, bru.

2nd part: Kak.

:naughty:

Loved the lingo down there! Oh, & the ladies & their accents were pretty fit too. Just in general, ppl are nicer than anywhere I've ever been!

Not a whole lot. Really likes Lance Thompson. Says he'll decide Wednesday morning and it will be whatever he's feeling that morning.

Well with the way kiffin closed last year this makes me nervous, but at the same time you have to like the fact we had him here on the last weekend. Props to CDD, CJC and CLT. They have done a magnificent job in keeping this all going from the shipwreck they were looking straight in the eyes a couple weeks ago. Go Big Orange:rock:

right. we need to keep things in perspective. i think some people have unreasonably high expectations considering the circumstances.

i wouldn't be surprised if kiffin is sending him text messages that morning.

Got to talk with Coach Dooley, and likes him. Tennessee is back in it. Mad at Kiffin, but it's alright. Will wake up and decide on NSD.

Wait, so Ambles is upset with Kiffin but USC is still in the mix? Hmmm.... well I guess it's still USC. Hopefully he's a Vol come Wednesday.
