I guess what I'm really talking about is if someone is being a 'Richard' or not. That's not to hard to figure out. IMO if you're being a 'Richard' you get shown the door.. It's more about right and wrong to me and less about legalities...

Word leaked out on Monday, that Tennessee recruiting intern Steve Rubio was in Los Angeles discussing a formal job offer from Lane Kiffin to come on board at USC in an expanded role from the one he occupied this last season in Knoxville in the Vols’ recruiting office.. Rubio indicated to VolQuest.com Monday night that he had turned down a job offer on the West Coast. Rubio had no previous ties to the Kiffin/Orgeron regime but apparently impressed them with his organizational efforts on the recruiting front to the point that Kiffin wanted to bring him to Los Angeles.

All that said, I really hope Markeith comes to UT. If the good lord smiles on UT football and we get Ambles and Rogers along with those allready in the fold. We will be scary on offense.

ive heard rubio and markieth are boys. i dunno how much that helps are chances.. but its definitely not a bad thing. Anyway anybody know what the chances are he waits till after signing day to announce?

I read somewhere that he thought about waiting until after NSD to decide because he still had 2 official visits to use but Ambles recently said that he will sign on NSD & when he wakes up that morning whichever school is the first one he thinks of is the one he will sign with.

So are we allowing him to stay? Why go and interview right before NSD? If I were Dooley I would get rid of him right after NSD. That just wasn't a cool move, not at all.

I dunno, maybe that's a little rough. If Ambles will come just because Rubio is here, keep him hah.

I really think this is a UNC & UT battle, he has many friend's here at UT, I think it's closer to home ( I might be mistaking ), he has an amazing WR coach now, & he has been in love with the Vols for a while. Just looking at the simple thing's you would think he is a Vol BUT that's the crazy thing about recruiting, right when you think you know what's going to happen it can completely change in seconds.

This kind of sums up some of my recent frustrations overall in recruiting.

I just want NSD to get here & pass! Be damned with all the speculation, which while fun to a certain extent, is tiring. I wanna see who truly is ALL IN to be a VOL, get their John Hancock down on paper, & get stoked for spring practice to see who's bustin their tail to kick ass on Saturdays in the foothills of the Smokies!

Some say UNC, some say Tennessee, and the latest buzz Monday night was Southern Cal after a late-night post-Tennessee visit phone call and conversation with Lane Kiffin on Sunday night.

The reality is that no one including Ambles at this point appears to know where he is going. When asked Monday night what time he was going to sign, Ambles said he didn’t know, but he does expect to do something on signing day. The only question is where and on Monday, the five-star receiver was downplaying his visit to Tennessee and was really downplaying all three schools as speculation of him going to all three grows.

Ambles was clear to John Brice on Sunday that he would go with what he felt when he woke up on Wednesday.

Dawgs didn't offer that I can tell.. poison maybe? Really now,, Eric Berry doesn't act like this,,, AJ Green doesn't act like this,,, Percy Harvin? All SEC and former all SEC pro bowlers don't act like this,,,. If he comes he needs to grow up and not be TO or I for one could care less if he comes no matter the talent level.

All I can say for TO types is this - SF let TO go,,Philly let TO go,, Dallas even let him go. We can do without this type.
Brandon Marshall,,, Denver is ready to let this guy walk as well -- egos bigger than the team are not productive.

Talked to Jamie Newberg from Rivals this morning on a call-in show on Sirius. He said that only Markeith knows what Markeith is going to do, but he's betting that he will be a Vol when all's said and done.
