It was worse (269) but that was an aberration... not the rule. Even with the coaching changes and that year included, UT avgs 366 ypg over those 4 years. UNC avg'd 312 with no discernable improvement. Their output has ranged between around 290 and 325.

Their best scoring year was 27.7 under Davis. UT has been higher than that 3 out of the last 4 years.

UT plays in a better defensive conference. Has endured 3 OC's in 4 years... and has STILL outperformed UNC significantly. And it really isn't because UNC hasn't had talent on O. They just can't get anything out of it.

I added him to keep up with his statuses because he is the King of Internet Drama, but if he had not added me I wouldn't have cared. I am not posting come to my school its SO the best in the world, or cussing them out for choosing another school. Sour grapes IMO.

My question is why is no other recruiting site besides scout saying he eliminated UT? I mean I would think that would be a big deal... besides I swear I read somewhere not too long ago that scout "disrespected" him and he was no longer talking to them, so how the **** would they know, unless he purposely told them bad info???? I just hope and pray Ambles will be a Vol tomorrow....

IMO he has a love for UT. He knows all of the players and he was the largest recruiter for UT. His dad likes UT. USC is to far. UNC is a basketball school. IMO all VOL!

scout's though usually the better ones it's seemed this season about getting the news first; rivals is just much better at gauging and ranking the players

The team with Nicks & Tate with Yates passing to them should have been better than it was. BY A LOT...

If scout did disrespect him wouldn't it be nice to make them look stupid? IMO

To my knowledge scout is the only one that reported this..
Wheres the Rivals report?
Even ESPN?

Pure speculation guys... ALL VOL.

Scout didn't specifically say he had eliminated UT. The reporter said that it looked like it was down to UNC and USC.

That perception could have been built on nothing more than Ambles saying he liked both programs... without mentioning his thoughts on UT. If he had told the guy he had eliminated UT... the blurb would have said he had "eliminated UT".

Good luck to you young man. I hope you are a VOL, but if you decide to go elsewhere, thank you for considering Tennessee. Tennessee fans will watch you through the rest of your career, in the orange and white, or in the colors of another college and reflect on the ups and downs of your recruiting. The fact that you fought through coaching changes and the occasional snowstorm; afforded Tennessee every opportunity to the end; makes you a friend to me. A week or so ago many people here... most notably Big Orange Bo were emphatically saying he was "gone"... that UT had absolutely no shot. Then the guy out of the blue goes through the ringer to give UT an OV.

We will know where this kid is committed when the ink is dry.
