nope but it would make this class if he did. he was a big recruiting presence since he committed and for others to seem him leave is not good

I have a weird feeling that if Kippy gets the gig he may be able to keep him. Of course that might just be gas.

Yes he will stay! our class has withstood the initial shock with only 4 decommits. The rest are in a wait and see mode and we can't blame them...

The reason we have only had a few decommits is because its the dead period and nobody has been able to really put the press on them.

Come back next week and lets talk about how many are gone then.

Just heard on the sports animal that... according to TigerBait.com, Ambles was contacted by Kiffin and was told not to tell anyone.

This shouldn't surprise anyone knowing LK's track record, but this is exactly what he said he would not do.

I don't have access to Rivals, can someone paraphrase what he said on Tigerbait??

not surprising. All his nice talk about Tennessee and the talk about not going after our recurits was just talk. Just talk to not make himself look like the jackhole that he is. I turned on ESPN radio and knew Cowheard was on and thought "he'll be on there defending Lane". And of course he was on there defending him to the death and talking about how people have called his interview a cupcake interview. And saying that it's no big deal if he goes after recruits at TN.

For a guy who shows absolutely no loyalty and integrity to the players who commit to him, CLK sure makes some serious assumptions about how much he can trust them to do what he tells them to do.


Then, after they do everything he asks, don't be surprised if he's long gone the day after your first class starts at the university he recruited you to join.

Amazing...

Guys, I think we lucked out by losing Kiffin and Company. These are not the type of people we want representing UT. These guys just don't care about the rules.

Yeah well because we did lose them and the setback of this recruiting class is going to give us many years of losing football. There is no way we are going to be able to compete at the level of SEC play with what we are going to have left this year. Our program is in severe trouble..

I find it hard to believe that Lane is Monte's kid. Monte has so much integrity and is so respected here in Florida yet his son seems to have none of his characteristics.

Dumbbest post of the year.... We already have a good foundation of players already on campus and you never know how a recruiting class will affect your team, good or bad. Depending on who we end up hiring, they will be able to get recruits... But getting them is only half of it, you have to be able to develop them once they are here

You certainly can compete, Ole Miss and Houston Nutt don't seem to have a problem with competing with 2 star guys.

Is a NC in your immediate future? Probably not but that doesn't mean you can't compete with what you have.
