"I know I am going to camp at Southern Cal, Oklahoma and I might go to Florida for their Friday Night Lights camp," Ambles offered. "I don't know if I am going to go back up to Tennessee's camp this year. I was up there last year, but it's all different coaches now so I might go. I don't know. I just want to see as many places as I can to get a feel for schools. That's why I know I am going to Southern Cal and Oklahoma this summer."

I hate USC.

a year ago the Henry County High School standout had 53 catches for 993 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Kid still has a lot of people interested in him despite his controversies

“I have a lot of interest in Tennessee,” Ambles said. “I feel very good about Tennessee. I have been talking to Coach (Lance) Thompson a lot; I just called and talked to him a couple of days ago. He is a great coach and is very easy to talk to.”

“If I had a top five they would be in it,” Ambles said. “I really don’t have a favorite right now; other schools I’m looking at include Florida, USC, Oklahoma and Alabama.”

“I actually went to the Florida game there last year,” Ambles said. “It’s the loudest I have been to. It's crazy."

“He is so young,” Ambles said. “I like that, he can relate to his players easier than some of the older coaches that are recruiting me. Coach Kiffin has also coached wide receivers a lot, so I know I would be coached up well if I chose Tennessee.”

From Scout... He says he will be waiting until National Signing Day to make his decision. It's a FREE READ. Check it out...

"Phillip Sims started contacting me as soon as he committed to Alabama. He is a great guy. He isn't trying to pressure me into anything," said Ambles. "He told me that he wanted me to pick the right place for me, but that he hoped that place was at Alabama. He wants us to play together and win a championship."

"I will definitely visit Alabama. I am not sure if I will camp, but I am definitely going to hang out. I feel comfortable there and have a lot of friends already that are players."

"I don't think anyone is standing out as far as how hard they are recruiting me because they all are coming very hard. I get new emails, letters and stuff everyday."

Per Rivals...

I think our depth chart will help us out with this guy. Bama has receivers galore. He could be the man here earlý on.

We need a commit like Sims that will get in recruits ears and really start to make them think. When kids see their peers talk good about school, it is sometimes as good and sometimes even better than the coaches telling them about it.

Could you imagine the talent Alabama will have, if they keep this up. However, Tom Lemming said what Tennessee is doing recruiting right now, That UT awfully reminds him of BAma and he believes that their are going to be a ton of GREAT players on the hill in the next 5 years and UT will be competing for Natl Titles year in and year out!

Bama and LSU in the west
UT and UF in the east

That's how it will shape up in the next 3-4 yrs

Hate to say it i wouldn't count UGA out. They'll have Aaron Murray at QB and some sick wide recievers.

to a degree, yes

Year before last, they finished the season ranked # 2 and last year they were killed by injuries. Even the blowout loss to UF could have been much different if they didn't get every possible bad break in the first half.

I see a three team battle in the SEC East.

You're wrong. But hey, that's not really a surprise to anyone.

We missed out on Marlin Brown last year. I think this guy would make up for that loss

Stealing a GA player after they stole a TN player.

Sweet revenge

I will be estatic if we get this guy. I'll also feel redemption because MBDJJC you're right it would be nice to steal away a GA player after they stole a TN player.

I wonder if Sims realizes he may never start at Bama? They already have a log jam developing with Jackson and McCarron.
