From Scout today,

One Tennessee commitment is taking other visits.

In fact Markeith Ambles went to North Carolina this past weekend.

The uncertainty surrounding the sudden departure of Lane Kiffin has the Amble Family looking cautiously at the situation in Knoxville.

“Right now Markeith is still committed to Tennessee,” Keith Ambles, Markeith’s father told InsideTennessee.com Sunday afternoon. “We heard from Coach Lance Thompson and Coach Kippy Brown a couple of days ago, but we haven’t heard anything from the new coach yet.”

According to Mr. Ambles, a trip to Knoxville will probably happen sometime this week or weekend.

“We told them we weren’t going to come up there until they got a new coach,” Mr. Ambles said. “Now that they have one, we want to meet Coach Derek Dooley and get to know him a little better.”

Mr. Ambles is also hoping that the new coaching staff reaches out to them.

“They may come see us this week, I wouldn’t be surprised,” Mr. Ambles said. “We are just keeping all of our options open right now. We are looking forward to hearing from the new staff.”

Ambles is a four star rated wide receiver by Scout.com.

no attitude here friend, just thought the point of your post was that he wouldn't be able to recruit east of the Miss, and i was just stating that he wouldn't have to. :hi:

wont need to ... USC is about to lose all the schollies! And that will make me happy. Might have one of those 4 hour viagra side-effects.

I think after CDD meets Ambles and susses out that he hasn't got a prayer of actually qualifying he'll pass on this flash in the pan..... Ambles is T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Even if he does somehow manage to get in he won't stick around long before he "Nukes" out.....

You should just quit now. Ambles is going to qualify.
